Letter: Woman can’t get motorized wheelchair

letters_flatTo the editor,

How come I, Vivian Jasulavic, can’t get a motorized wheelchair after I asked the doctor who did my hip replacement for one five years ago, when another person who is overweight with no operations goes to at least three churches at Thanksgiving time and gets three turkeys, at least, making other families eat a can of soup for Thanksgiving?

I’ve been without a car for 40 years, have stumped all over on buses and walking since my hip replacement five years ago, and I’m still walking. It’s not fair.
