Letter: Vickie Nardello has Prospect’s back

To the editor,

For many years state Rep.Vickie Nardello has had our backs in the 89th District, but for the last year and a half it has hit much closer to home for me and my family.

When 492-feet wind turbines were proposed in our neighborhood, Vickie was there all along the way informing and educating the people of the process. While being a strong supporter of green energy, Vickie stands tall when it comes to fair play and constituents rights. She worked tirelessly moving the state towards sensible regulations for Connecticut. Vickie represented her district admirably in front of the Connecticut Siting Council when she spoke of the numerous faults with the unacceptable proposed wind regulations now coming before the state legislature. There is no doubt in my mind with her representing our district, Connecticut will adopt the most sensible wind regulations for everyone concerned.

I know where Vickie stands on this issue but I don’t know where Lezlye Zupkus stands however, given her relationship with Greg Zupkus, owner of BNE Energy, who was attempting to put 492-feet industrial wind turbines in my residential neighborhood. My support will remain with Vickie Nardello because I know she will support the well being of her constituents and the residents of Connecticut.
