letters_flatTo the editor,

I would like to express my appreciation for the fundraiser my family planned for me on March 9. Words cannot express my gratitude towards everyone who supported me during this time.

I would like to send a thank you to Oliver’s Supermarket for a very generous donation that evening. Thank you to Jessie Camille’s and Naugatuck High School culinary department for their donations. I would like to thank the Congregational Church of Naugatuck for donating the use of their building that night. Thank you to Sibby’s Automotive, WalMart, Big Y, Viso Bello Day Spa, and YoCrunch for donating gift certificates auctioned off that night. A very special thank you is for the Cheshire House Nursing Home residents and employees for their donations that evening. Thank you to Terri’s Flower Shop for providing the perfect touch for the evening. Thank you to Buckmiller’s Funeral Home staff, Simply Smiles and Dunkin Donuts of Naugatuck for their generous donations. Thank you to everyone who donated items for the auction that evening. I would like to thank my neighbors, classmates, family members, people who helped with set up, clean up, food preparation or volunteered to help that evening.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who attended that night because with all of you, that night was a huge success. I am grateful for the generosity of others and truly appreciate the support. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank you all for helping my family and I in our time of need.

Thank you.

Robert Magnamo Jr.
