I write this letter in full support of the candidacy of Michelle Dowling for Town Clerk of Naugatuck. I have known Michelle for the past 15 years in many different capacities. She has been a supportive and loyal friend, a diligent and hard-working employee at Jesse Camille’s Restaurant, a competent and capable co-worker at Fitzpatrick, Mariano and Santos. For the past 12 of those 15 years, she has been a knowledgeable and qualified Assistant Town Clerk.

In my law practice, I have many dealings with the Town Clerk’s office. I often need to research the land records, obtain copies of deeds, record documents and file trade name certificates. Michelle has always been knowledgeable, helpful and capable in this position. She is quick to provide assistance with locating and copying documents, filing deeds and mortgages, and answering questions on conveyance taxes. I am also a justice of the peace and Michelle has been helpful in assisting me with the proper execution and filing of marriage certificates.

I travel to many Town Clerk’s offices in the state of Connecticut to perform title searches and record documents. It is always a pleasure to do business at the Naugatuck Town Clerk’s office. The staff is always diligently working and Michelle is always a smiling and friendly face who is willing to lend a hand to assist.

Michelle’s on the job experience is invaluable. For the past many years, Michelle has acknowledged our marriage certificates, provided certified copies of our children’s birth records, ensured the deeds to our houses were properly recorded, made certain our votes were correctly registered when absent from the jurisdiction, and signed off on our gaming licenses. Michelle competently accommodates every task and she is the most qualified candidate for the position of Naugatuck Town Clerk.

I fully support Michelle Dowling for Town Clerk of Naugatuck.
