Children had a chance to share their Christmas wish list with Santa, meet Frosty, and watch Christmas movies with Rudolf and one of Santa’s elves all at the Naugatuck Parks and Recreation’s annual Santa’s Village this week. Children toured the festive display with rooms filled with Christmas decorations from a miniature village to mechanical figures and a model train. Santa’s Village will remain open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through Dec. 23 at the Parks and Recreation office on Rubber Avenue. Admission is a non-perishable food item for the food bank. Photos with Santa are available for $5 or parents can bring their own cameras. The Park Department will also serve free hot chocolate, coffee, juice, and cider. Donations are welcome.
