NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Senior Babe Ruth defeated Ridgefield, 11-1, on June 22.
Joe Kwaak pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and striking out six. Kwaak added three hits and one RBI at the plate. Zack Mathieu had two hits and two RBI. John McGovern had a three-run triple and Dylan Meara added two hits.
Naugatuck defeated Ridgefield 2, 10-5, on Sunday.
Matt Pimpinelli pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out seven. He added a three-run double at the plate. Kwaak had a RBI single and Dom Musco added two hits and a RBI.
