Registration open for spring soccer

PROSPECT — Registration is now open for the Prospect Soccer Club’s 2016 spring in-house rec program.

Registration closes on April 1 and late fees apply starting March 7.

The soccer club recommends that U9 and U10 travel soccer players also play in-house rec. The cost to play in-house rec is $15 if signed up for travel. Those interested in playing both rec and travel should register for both and contact David Cambra at davidcambra619@gmail.com before paying.

The soccer club also offers a mini kicker program designed for children ages 3 to 5.

Specialized training and soccer clinics conducted by certified soccer trainers will be offered for U6 to U14 player as part of registration for travel and rec. There will also be a series of clinics for coaches and parents. For more information, contact Dan Teixeira at Danielteieira86@comcast.net.

Host families needed for soccer trainers

PROSPECT — The Prospect Soccer Club looking for families to host a certified soccer trainer from the United Kingdom from mid-April to mid-June.

The trainers are coming to Prospect to work with and train soccer players. Host families are asked to provide a bed, showering facilities, laundry facilities, and if possible, meals. They do have full transportation. All trainers come with full background checks and medical coverage.
