YMCA holding Little Pal registration
NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck YMCA has announced registration dates for Little Pal Basketball.
Players can register Sept. 30 and Oct. 2, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the YMCA, 284 Church St. Registration can not be done after tryouts and draft.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 13. Children must turn 7 before Dec. 31 and 14 after Dec. 31. For more information, call (203) 729-9622.
Little League electing new board members
NAUGATUCK — Union City Little League will elect new directors for its board Oct. 2.
The election will be at the Union City Little League Clubhouse, 165 Morris St., at Morris Street. Anyone interested in joining the board should attend Oct. 2 or email Jeff Valentine at mgv275@sbcglobal.net.
Parks and Rec hosting volleyball camp
BEACON FALLS — Parks and Recreation is holding a four-week volleyball camp in October.
The camp runs Saturdays, Oct. 4 to Oct. 25, at Woodland Regional High School from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The camp is open to players in grades six to eight. The fee is $80. For more information or to register, call Jess DeGennaro at (203) 848-9590.
