PROSPECT — Registration is open for the Prospect Women’s Softball League’s summer season.
The league, which will remain a single division this year, is for women 18 years old prior to June 1 and older. The season begins the week of June 17 and continues through the last week of August. Two games are played per week on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays and rain dates are scheduled for Fridays.
There is no automatic registration. Women who played last year must register again.
Registration fee is $15 for Prospect residents and $20 for non-residents. Prospect residents must submit proof of residency, such as a photocopy of a valid driver’s license.
Registration forms are available at Prospect Town Hall, 36 Center St., and Oliver’s Market, 75 Waterbury Road. Registration is by mail only and must be postmarked by May 25. If mailed after May 25 include a $5 late fee. Checks can be made payable to Prospect Board of Recreation.
