Registration open for Prospect softball league
PROSPECT — Registration for the Prospect Women’s Softball League’s 2011 season is now in progress.
The league is one single division and plays one to two games a week on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The season starts the week of June 13 and plays through the last week of August.
There is no automatic registration and players who played last year are not automatically registered. The league is only for women who turned 18 years old by June 1.
The league fee is $15 for Prospect residents and $20 for non-residents. Prospect residents must send proof of residency with their registration.
Registration is by mail only and must be postmarked by May 20. If registration is mailed after May 20, a $5 late fee must be mailed with the registration.
Completed registration forms can be mailed with the registration fee and a photocopy of proof of residency to Prospect Women’s Softball League, C/O Kimberly A. Tompkins, 10 Rozum Circle, Prospect CT 06712.
