Class L qualifying round: No. 33 Naugatuck (8-12) at No. 32 Woodstock Academy (8-12) Friday at 6 p.m. The Centaurs get home-court advantage via the CIAC’s fourth tiebreaker (most wins versus teams in the highest class), thanks to their victory over Class LL Fitch. The winner will visit No. 1 Northwest Catholic (20-0) Monday at 7 p.m.
Class M first round: No. 17 Woodland (13-7) at No. 16 Montville (13-7) Tuesday at 7 p.m. Fitch strikes again. The Indians’ win over the Falcons breaks the tie and makes Montville the higher seed and the host. The victor travels to No. 1 Brookfield (17-3), which has a first-round bye, for a second-round contest next Friday at 7 p.m.
