The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Teniqua York, 27, of 80 Peck St., New Haven, was charged July 24 with three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 11:13 a.m. York was arrested on active arrest warrants. York was given a court date of Aug. 2 to appear at New Haven Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

Michael Cherry, 50, of 42 Brook St., Naugatuck, was charged July 24 with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 3:47 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance at a group home. Police reported Cherry, a client of the home, threatened to harm a staff member. Cherry was given a court date of July 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Javon Douglas, 24, of 210 Clermont Ave., Bridgeport, was charged July 24 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 9:51 p.m. Douglas was arrested on active arrest warrants. Douglas was given a court date of July 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Sherri Woodin, 46, of 1306 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, was charged July 25 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 7:56 p.m. Woodin was arrested on active arrest warrants. One was for a larceny reported on May 12, 2017 at Stop & Shop. Police reported Woodin stole Red Bull energy drinks valued at $95.89. Woodin left the store and was later identified through the officer’s investigation. One warrant was for a larceny reported on May 30, 2017 at Stop & Shop. Police reported Woodin stole Red Bull energy drinks valued at $64.18. Woodin was given a court date of Aug. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a non-surety bond.

Peter Knappe, 46, of 268 North Harker Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 25 with third-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 7:01 a.m. an officer responded to Church Street for a larceny complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Knappe stole building materials and tools from a construction site, which total value was $8,910. The construction site is the renovation project of the Tuttle building. Police reported Knappe contacted Charles Cosmos, who assisted him in bringing the building materials to a scrap yard in Hartford. The scrap yard contacted the local police department who assisted the Naugatuck Police Department in the detention and arrest of Knappe and Cosmos. Knappe was given a court date of July 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Charles Cosmos, 59, of 1259 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, was charged July 25 with third-degree larceny and conspiracy at third-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 7:01 a.m. an officer responded to Church Street for a larceny complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Peter Knappe stole building materials and tools from a construction site, which total value was $8,910. Jessica Johnson, 30, of 32 Gus St., Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with second-degree assault with a motor vehicle: under influence of liquor or drug and driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 3:17 p.m. Johnson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle accident reported on Feb. 15, 2017 on North Spring Street. Police reported Johnson struck another vehicle in the area of 508 North Spring St. The passengers of the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital for treatment to their injuries. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Johnson was operating under the influence of narcotics. Johnson was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150,000 surety bond.

Bianca Garnett, 26, of 222 Oakville Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 26 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 5:47 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between girlfriends. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Garnett was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Jennifer Spezzano, 37, of 222 Oakville Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 26 with breach of peace.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 5:47 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between girlfriends. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Spezzano was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

David Primus, 64, of Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a possible violation of a protective order. Police reported Primus was found in the parking lot of the protected party’s residence. Primus was taken into custody and given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $20,000 surety bond.

Kevin Lucas Santos, 22, of 2233 Avalon Valley, Danbury, was charged July 27 with two counts of violation of protective order, breach of peace, threatening and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on July 27 Santos was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on July 24, 2017. Police reported Santos contacted the victim through phone calls and text messages, which was in violation of a protective order. The other warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on July 25, 2017. Police reported Santos sent the victim threatening text messages, which was in violation of a protective order. Santos was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Patrick Occhino, 34, of 800 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged July 27 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on July 27 at approximately 6:50 a.m. Occhino was arrested on an active warrant. He was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

Aniello Liguori, 54, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 27 with four counts of violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on July 27 at approximately 6:50 a.m. Liguori was arrested on active warrants. He was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Mark Northrop, 26, of 16 Byron St., Waterbury, was charged July 27 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on July 27 at approximately 4:37 p.m. Northrop turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Northrop was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 court-set cash bond.

George Vassallo, 26, of 27 George St., Naugatuck, was charged July 29 with criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on July 29 at approximately 8:48 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, Vassallo gave the officer a false name and date of birth. Vassallo was given a court date of Aug. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Tiffani Snoe Servidas, 27, of 38 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 6 p.m. Servidas was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Servidas was given a court date of Aug. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set cash bond.

Giovanni Rivera, 19, of 349 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged July 30 with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy at first-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy at second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy at third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 5:44 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, Rivera was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. Rivera was wanted on an active arrest warrant for a vandalism complaint made on March 3, 2017, where seven vehicles were damaged in the Gorman Street area. Rivera was given a court date of July 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

Danielle Fairweather, 25, of 270 Sherman Ave., New Haven, was charged July 30 with sixth-degree larceny and issuing a bad check.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Fairweather was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Fairweather was for a bad check complaint on June 30, 2017. Fairweather issued a check for $427.21 to Ocean State Job Lot and it was returned for insufficient funds, police reported. Fairweather was given a court date of Aug. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Robert Tesla, 21, of 10 Windsor Place, Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with interfering with an officer and breach of peace.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 8:14 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, Tesla yelled obscenities at the officers and tow truck driver. Police reported Tesla ran from the officers but was located and taken into custody a short distance from the initial stop. Tesla was given a court date of Aug. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Penny Syman, 43, of 819 Bunker Hill Road, Waterbury, was charged July 30 with third-degree assault, breach of peace and two counts of violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 9:55 p.m. officers responded to Church Street for two females fighting in the road. Police reported Syman punched and kicked the victim, who sustained minor injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Syman was given a court date of July 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

Police reported on July 30 Syman was arrested on active arrest warrants. Syman was given a court date of July 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.
