The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Jason Marino, 36, of 43 Balance Rock Road, Seymour, was charged April 9 with reckless driving and driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 1:42 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Marino was operating under the influence of alcohol. Marino was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Tyler Synott, 24, of 72 New St., Naugatuck, was charged April 10 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on April 10 at approximately 10:16 p.m. Synott was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Synott was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $100 cash bond.

Kyle Hamera, 32, of 41 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged April 10 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 10 at approximately 11:20 a.m. Hamera was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny from Walmart on Nov. 8, 2016. Police reported Hamera stole trail cameras, computer hard drive, headphones and a PC game. Hamera was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Olajuwon J. Harrington, 24, of 533 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on April 11 Harrington was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at court. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 28, 2017 at Walmart. Police reported Harrington attempted to steal a Dyson vacuum valued at $349. When confronted by asset protection, police reported, Harrington ran from the store and parking lot. Police reported an officer located the accused on New Haven Road, where he ran from the officer. Harrington was given a court date of April 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Silvano Taccone, 56, of was charged 168 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with third-degree larceny and conspiracy at third-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 11 at approximately 2:01 p.m. Taccone turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Feb. 10, 2017. Police reported Taccone stole materials from a construction site on Water Street. The materials were commercial exhaust fans valued at $5,000, police reported. Taccone was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

Amy O’Sullivan, 40, of 38 Neumann St., Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with possession of narcotics, failure to keep narcotics in original container, possession of narcotics in school zone and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 11 at approximately 6:26 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. Police reported O’Sullivan was found to be wanted on an arrest warrant. During the arrest, police reported, O’Sullivan was found to be in possession of Oxycondone pills. O’Sullivan was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set bond.

Julio Chaparro, 29, of 94 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 11 at approximately 8:49 p.m. officers responded to Gorman Street for a disturbance at a group home. Chaparro and Frank Tompkins, who are residents of the home, were arguing, police reported. The argument turned physical and an employee attempted to stop the altercation, police reported. During that time the employee was struck, police reported. Chaparro was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Frank Tompkins, 26, of 94 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 11 at approximately 8:49 p.m. officers responded to Gorman Street for a disturbance at a group home. Tompkins and Julio Chaparro, who are residents of the home, were arguing, police reported. The argument turned physical and an employee attempted to stop the altercation, police reported. During that time the employee was struck, police reported. Tompkins was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Ryan Smith, 43, of 38 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged April 12 with violation of protective order, third-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 9:41 a.m. Smith was arrested on an active arrest warrant while at court. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on March 16, 2017. During an argument, police reported, Smith held the victim down and covered her mouth. The victim was able to leave the residence and went to a neighbor’s house to report the incident, police reported. During the time of the incident, police reported, there was a protective order in place, which Smith violated. He was given a court date of April 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Edward Steinberg, 45, of 536 Emmett St., Bristol, was charged April 12 with threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 7:26 a.m. Steinberg turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a disturbance reported at Walmart on March 25, 2017. Police reported Steinberg, who is an employee of the store, was involved in an altercation with another employee in the parking lot. Police reported Steinberg pulled a pocket knife out his pocked during the incident. The victim took the knife from Steinberg, police reported, and there were no injuries. Steinberg was given a court date of April 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,500 surety bond.

Roberto Lopez, 31, of 153 Center St., Shelton, was charged April 12 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 10:34 a.m. Lopez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Lopez was given a court date of April 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Rebecca Regan, 48, of 253 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged April 12 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Regan was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Regan was given a court date of April 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $100 cash bond.

Kristofer Butler, 29, of 68 Fairchild St., Naugatuck, was charged April 12 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Butler was arrested on active arrest warrants. Butler was given a court date of April 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

Peter Morton, 22, of 100 Milwaukee Ave., Bethel, was charged April 13 with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy at first-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy at second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy at third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on April 13 Morton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a vandalism incident on March 3, 2017 in which approximately seven vehicles were vandalized in the Gorman Street area. Morton was given a court date of April 26 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Eric Pemberton, 37, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 13 at approximately 6:49 p.m. Pemberton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pemberton was held on a court-ordered $500 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.

Rockiem Dukes, 18, of 74 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 13 with breach of peace.

Police reported on April 13 police investigated a domestic dispute in which Dukes was reported to have been involved in an argument with a sibling that escalated into a physical altercation. Dukes given a court date of April 17 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Julie Kulikowski, 33, of 21 Hemlock Trail, Oxford, was charged April 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 5:08 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Kulikowski subject conceal items and exited the store without paying for them, police reported. Kulikowski released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 26.

David Michel, 45, of 23 Dunn Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 15 with disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer, first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 15 officers responded to 23 Dunn Ave. for a domestic disturbance between male and female adults. The call was received via 911 from the adult female however upon arrival the victim denied calling, police reported. Officers observed evidence of a physical confrontation taking place at the residence and also observed minor injuries to both subjects. Based on information obtained during the investigation both subjects were placed under arrest. During the investigation, police reported, it was found that Michel outstanding failure to appear warrants. Michel was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Shannon Crosby, 48, of 23 Dunn Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 15 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on April 15 officers responded to 23 Dunn Ave. for a domestic disturbance between male and female adults. The call was received via 911 from the adult female however upon arrival the victim denied calling, police reported. Officers observed evidence of a physical confrontation taking place at the residence and also observed minor injuries to both subjects. Based on information obtained during the investigation both subjects were placed under arrest. Crosby was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Tod Turner, 38, of 3 Buritt Place, Naugatuck, was charged April 16 with second-degree larceny, credit card theft by transfer and illegal use of credit card.

Police reported on April 16 Turner was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident that occurred on Feb. 14, 2017 in which Turner stole a motor vehicle from the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts located at 72 Bridge St. Police reported Turner was held on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.
