The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ERIC JENKINS, 18, of 83 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on Oct. 23 at approximately 9:07 p.m. an officer responded to 143 Cherry St. for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Jenkins struck a parked vehicle and drove from the scene. Jenkins was later located at his residence. Jenkins was given a court date of Nov. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALLISA COLLETT, 22, of 30 Steward St., New London, was charged Oct. 25 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 25 at approximately 1:02 a.m. Collett was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen motor vehicle complaint made on Aug. 11, 2016. Police reported Collett stole the victim’s vehicle, which was later recovered on Aug. 30, 2016 in Norwich. Collett is known to the victim. Collett was given a court date of Oct. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $35,000 surety bond.

MICHAEL PAYNE JR., 30, of 367 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with breach of peace and threatening.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 10:20 p.m. officers responded to 367 High St. 2F for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Payne damaged a faucet and decorative masks in the home. Police reported Payne threatened to harm the victim. Payne was given a court date of Oct. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

JESUS GARCIA, 38, of 418 Rann Court, Fredricksburg, was charged Oct. 27 with first-degree failure to appear, second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Oct. 27 at approximately 4:35 p.m. Garcia was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Garcia was given a court date of Oct. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,000 surety bond.

EROLL HODZA, 29, of 8 Carroll Court, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 28 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Oct. 28 at approximately 5:42 p.m. officers responded to Church Street for a narcotic violation. The caller stated Hodza had a canister containing narcotics. Upon the officers’ arrival they located Hodza, who was found to be in possession of Alprazolam, police reported. Hodza was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

GARY LAROWE, 52, of 47 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 29 with breach of peace, threatening and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Oct. 29 at approximately 4:39 a.m. officers responded to 47 Lewis Circle for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Larowe left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. During an argument, police reported, Larowe punched the victim and threatened to harm the victim. Larowe was located on Andrew Avenue where he was taken into custody, police reported. Larowe was given a court date of Oct. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

KATHLEEN WEISS, 22, of 36 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 29 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 29 at approximately 6:36 a.m. officers responded to 36 Woodbine St. for a domestic disturbance between mother and daughter. While the officers were on scene Weiss refused to calm down and continued to yell, police reported. When Weiss appeared to be calm the officers left the residence. They were called back within minutes because Weiss was now next door in the driveway yelling and screaming, police reported. Weiss was given a court date of Oct. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

GARY CAVALLARO, 57, of 169 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 29 with breach of peace, third-degree assault and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Oct. 29 at approximately 11:20 p.m. officers responded to High Street for an assault. A juvenile arrived at another juvenile’s residence to instigate a fight. When the juvenile would not leave his residence, police reported, the first juvenile threw a rock at the juvenile’s mother’s vehicle. The rock caused damage to the windshield and hood. The two juveniles began to fight in the street, police reported. During the fight, police reported, Cavallaro became involved and struck one of the juveniles. Cavallaro was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

JOSE RIVERA, 38, of 41 Cornilius Ave., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Oct. 30 at approximately 1:58 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rivera was operating under the influence of alcohol. Rivera was given a court date of Nov. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
