The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MICHAEL TESTONE, 21, of 63 Evelyn Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with sixth-degree larceny and failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 7:53 p.m. Testone turned himself in on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a larceny reported on Feb. 19, 2016. Police reported Testone stole a portable PlayStation worth $137.79 from the victim. Testone was given a court date of May 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

HETTYLOU DOW, 26, of 10 Rees Drive, Oxford, was charged May 9 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 9:09 a.m. Dow turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident reported on April 25, 2016 on Rubber Avenue Ext. While traveling west on Rubber Avenue Ext., police reported, Dow struck a wall and left the scene. Dow was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

LIONEL TORRES, 26, of last known address 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 10 with violation or protective order, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace and evading responsibility.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 7:01 p.m. officers responded to the American Motor Lodge, Waterbury, to serve an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Torres contacted the victim and threatened to damage her vehicle. When the victim was driving her vehicle in the parking lot of her residence, police reported, Torres hit her vehicle with his. No injuries were reported in the incident. Torres was identified and taken into custody. He was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $75,000 surety bond.

JOSHUA YOUNG, 35, of 52 Little River Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 10 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 7:31 a.m. Young turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Young was given a court date of May 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,860 cash bond.

JUDITH BROWN, 49, of 230 Webb Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 14 with breach of peace.

Police reported on May 14 at approximately 12:40 a.m. officers responded to 230 Webb Road for a disturbance between neighbors. Police reported Brown was outside the home yelling obscenities at the victim, who was inside her apartment. Brown also damaged a front due to slamming it, police reported. Brown was given a court date of May 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MICHELLE STRAIN, 49, of 73 Carriage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 14 with breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on May 14 at approximately 3:54 a.m. officers responded to Carriage Drive by Tudor Lane for a disturbance. Police reported Strain was yelling and banging on the victim’s door. Strain also damaged the victim’s vehicle by slashing the tires, police reported. Strain was given a court date of May 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

HECTOR ROSARIO, 57, of 76 Clay St., Waterbury, was charged May 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 14 at approximately 3:47 p.m. Rosario was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of New Britain. Rosario was given a court date of May 25 to appear at New Britain Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

MIGUEL SANCHEZ, 22, of 33 Neagle St., Naugatuck, was charged May 14 with drinking while operating a motor vehicle and driving under the influence.

Police reported on May 14 at approximately 6:30 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Fern Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sanchez was operating under the influence of alcohol. Sanchez was given a court date of May 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500.00 non-surety bond.

KYRA PADILLA, 20, of 76 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 16 with second-degree failure to appear.
