JAIMIE HERD, 26, of 955 Peck Lane, Cheshire, was charged Jan. 11 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny

Police reported on Jan. 11 Herd was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on April 22, 2105 at Walmart. Police reported Herd stole $32.80 worth of Monster drinks and left the area in a vehicle. Herd was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

CARLOS AYALA, 31, of 157 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 11 with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at approximately 9 a.m. Ayala was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at court. The warrant was for a burglary reported on Dec. 10, 2105. Police reported Ayala forced entry to the victim’s home and stole jewelry and electronic equipment. Ayala was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment on a court-set $100,000 surety bond.

GREG BALLESTER, 34, of 33-5 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 11 with possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, illegal sale of controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of an electronic weapon, possession of controlled substance, conspiracy at possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, conspiracy at illegal sale of controlled substance, conspiracy at use of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy at possession of controlled substance.

JESSE BALLESTER, 30, of 33 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 11 with possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, illegal sale of controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, conspiracy at possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, conspiracy at illegal sale of controlled substance, conspiracy at use of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy at possession of controlled substance.

CHRISTOPHER HICKS, 19, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 11 with second-degree threatening and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at approximately 8:18 p.m. officers responded to Warren Avenue for a disturbance. Police reported Hicks accompanied by a juvenile male arrived at the victim’s home to fight him. Hicks and juvenile male refused to leave and threatened to force entry and harm the occupants, police reported. The victim chased Hicks and juvenile male off his property until the officers arrived, police reported. Hicks was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

JOHN LEWIS, 44, of 50 Olivia St., Derby, was charged Jan. 12 with driving under the influence, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Jan. 12 at approximately 12:16 p.m. Lewis was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol. Lewis was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Police reported on Jan. 12 at approximately 12:16 p.m. Lewis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a vandalism complaint made on May 10, 2015. Police reported Lewis damaged a window pane and door to his neighbor’s apartment. Lewis was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

DANIEL PERRELLI, 36, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 13 with, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 12:38 a.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Ave. Apt. 50 for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Perrelli pushed the victim to the floor causing a cut to her lower lip. Perrelli left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. The Naugatuck Police Department’s K-9 officer was utilized and the K-9 found Perrelli hiding in a parking lot of the complex, police reported. Perrelli was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

SUSAN CARRANO, 33, of 211 Cooke St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 13 with second-degree failure to appear and second-degree violating conditions of release.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 6:41 a.m. Carrano was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Carrano was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 6:41 a.m. Carrano was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of conditions of release reported on Dec. 8, 2015. Police reported Carrano contacted the victim via social media, which was determined to be a violation of a conditions of released. Carrano was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

KYLE DOJNIA, 25, of 94 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 13 with disorderly conduct and threatening.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 8:11 p.m. Dojnia was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Dec. 27, 2015, between brothers. During an argument, police reported, Dojnia held a screwdriver and threatened to harm the victim. Dojnia was given a court of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

ALEC GRIDLEY, 32, of 11 Curtiss St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 13 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 8:18 a.m. officers responded to 11 Curtiss St. for a narcotic violation. A family member found 2.1 grams of heroin in the home, which was found to belong to Gridley and Yomaliz Adams. Gridley was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

YOMALIZ ADAMS, 23, of 11 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 13 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 8:18 a.m. officers responded to 11 Curtiss St. for a narcotic violation. A family member found 2.1 grams of heroin in the home, which was found to belong to Alec Gridley and Adams. Adams was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JOSE HERNANDEZ, 46, of 20 Lawrence St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 13 with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and reckless driving: not greater than 85 mph.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 6:14 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Shonica Rodriguez stole $126.97 worth of merchandise. When approached by asset protection employees she ran to a vehicle in the parking lot, driven by Hernandez. Hernandeaz drove from the employees at high rate of speed in the parking lot, police reported. Hernandez was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.

SHONICA RODRIGUEZ, 23, of 17 Burton St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 13 with sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 6:14 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Rodriguez stole $126.97 worth of merchandise. When approached by asset protection employees she ran to a vehicle in the parking lot, driven by Jose Hernandez. Hernandeaz drove from the employees at high rate of speed in the parking lot, police reported. Rodriguez was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

ALLEN MARIN, 23, of 80 Woodbine St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 14 at approximately 5:49 a.m. Marin turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Marin was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150 cash bond.

KAYLEE VIDIC, 19, of 18 Fairview Ave., Watertown, was charged Jan. 16 with breach of peace, third-degree assault, conspiracy to commit breach of peace and conspiracy to commit third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 9:54 p.m. Vidic was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Oct. 27, 2015. Police reported Vidic, with a male accomplice assaulted the victim, who is an acquaintance. The assault happened outside the residence of 24 Greenwood St., police reported. Vidic was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

FREDERIC WIDMER, 20, of 6 Autumn Ridge Road, Oxford, was charged Jan. 16 with driving under the influence, possession of controlled substance: less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 2:46 a.m. officers responded to McDonalds for a male party asleep in a vehicle in the drive through lane. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Widmer was operating under the influence of alcohol. Widmer was also found to be in possession of 1.3 grams of marijuana and vaporizing device, police reported. Widmer was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

LUIS BURGOS JR., 20, of 15 Beacon Manor, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 16 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility motor vehicle and disobeying signal of an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 7:04 a.m. an officer responded to Field Street for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Burgos struck a fire hydrant and left the scene. While the officer was on scene, police reported, Burgos drove by the scene. The officer ordered Burgos to stop but he continued to drive. Police reported the officer followed the vehicle until it stopped on Park Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Burgos was operating under the influence of alcohol. Burgos was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

SHERYL FOX, 47, of 43 Farnham Lane, Westfield, was charged Jan. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 17 at approximately 1:06 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fox was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fox was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

PAUL FERGUSON, 38, of 152 Fernhill Road, Watertown, was charged Jan. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 17 at approximately 3:01 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ferguson was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ferguson was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANTHONY SULLIVAN, 34, of 124 Coen St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 17 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Jan. 17 at approximately 1:24 p.m. Sullivan was arrested for a narcotic violation. Sullivan was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

DORMAN STONE, 59, of 285 Church St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 17 at approximately 4:58 p.m. an officer responded to 727 Rubber Ave. for a disturbance in the parking lot. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Stone was operating under the influence of alcohol. Stone was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

DAWN ROGONIA, 27, of 292 Lakeshore Drive, Carmel, was charged Jan. 18 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Jan. 18 at approximately 2:35 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. Rogonia was a passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rogonia was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Rogonia was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
