The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MELISA DROST, 33, of 288 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 7 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 7 at approximately 10:16 a.m. Drost was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Drost was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $250 cash bond.

JAMI WALLISA, 26, of 52 Summerfield St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 7 with possession of narcotics, four counts of second-degree failure to appear and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 7 6:10 p.m. an officer responded to 1081 New Haven Road for a suspicious person complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wallisa was in possession of heroin. Police reported Wallisa was also arrested on active arrest warrants. Wallisa was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

DENZEL BAINES, 20, of 55 Lilac St., New Haven, was charged Sept. 8 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 8 at approximately 1:24 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Baines was operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Baines was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TERESA GARNETT, 52, of 77 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 8 with sixth-degree larceny, weapons in vehicle, possession of controlled substance and carrying of pistol or revolver without a permit.

Police reported on Sept. 8 at approximately 4:03 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Garnett drove from the store but was stopped by the officer on New Haven Road. Police reported Garnett stole $38.45 worth of jewelry and cosmetics. During the investigation, police reported, a 22 caliber revolver was located inside the vehicle. Garnett did not have a firearm permit, police reported. While at the station for processing, police reported, Garnett was found to be in possession of Alprazolam pills. Garnett was given a court date of Sept. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

JAY CIFONE, 33, of 269 Guersneytown Road, Watertown, was charged Sept. 8 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 8 at approximately 9:11 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Cifone stole $37 worth of merchandise. Cifone was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DANIEL BRUNDRETT, 27, of 267 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 9 with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Sept. 9 at approximately 8:18 p.m. Brundrett was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a sexual assault that occurred several years ago. Police reported Brundrett inappropriately touched the female juvenile victim. Brundrett was known to the victim. Brundrett was given a court date of Sept. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $200,000 surety bond.

HEATHER HUNTLEY, 28, of 120 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 9 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 9 at approximately 4:45 p.m. Huntley was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Huntley was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

DOUGLAS MORRISON, 54, of 98 Maple St., Seymour, was charged Sept. 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 12:40 a.m. an officer responded to a suspicious motor vehicle complaint on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Morrison was operating under the influence of alcohol. Morrison was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALEXANDRE MISTERONI, 39, of 57 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 1:53 a.m. an officer investigated a suspicious motor vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Misteroni was operating under the influence of alcohol. Misteroni was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT POGODZIENSKI, 51, of 142 Plainfield Drive, Oakville, was charged Sept. 11 with third-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 4:12 p.m. an officer responded to Geraldine Drive for a trespassing complaint. Police reported Pogodzienski walked onto the victim’s property and entered his garage. Pogodzienski inquired about the victim’s vehicle parked in the garage and then left the area, police reported. Pogodzienski was located on North Main Street. Pogodzienski was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ALICIA RILEY, 25, of 17 Wilson St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 11 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 9:32 p.m. officers responded to Wilson Street for a neighbor dispute. During an argument, police reported, Alma Gualpa pushed Alicia Riley. Riley then struck Gualpa in the face, police reported. Riley was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

ALMA GUALPA, 50, of 15 Wilson St., Naugatuck, charged Sept. 11 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 9:32 p.m. officers responded to Wilson Street for a neighbor dispute. During an argument, police reported, Alma Gualpa pushed Alicia Riley. Riley then struck Gualpa in the face, police reported. Gualpa was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

SAKWON MITCHELL, 19, of 73-1 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 11 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 11 at approximately 10:24 p.m. an officer responded to a past assault. The victim was walking on Melbourne Street and noticed a group of males walking behind him, police reported. Police reported Mitchell walked up to the victim and punched him. Mitchell was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

MISHA FLORES, 27, of 186 Northridge Drive, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 11 with driving under the influence, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, two counts of assault on an officer and two counts of interfering with an officer.

CHERENE GRIFFITH, 41, of 29 Maybrook Road, Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 12 with issuing a bad check.

Police reported on Sept. 12 at approximately 9:08 p.m. Griffith was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint reported on July 23, 2015. Police reported Griffith wrote a check to the victim for $444.34, for veterinary services. Griffith was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 cash bond.

RUSSELL CAMP, 37, of 27 Galpin St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 12 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 12 at approximately 5 p.m. Camp was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Camp was given a court date of Sept. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

NATHANIEL PRALEIKAS, 25, of 108 Clark Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 13 at approximately 1:58 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Praleikas was operating under the influence of alcohol. Praleikas was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DANIEL LINDLEY, 38, of 79 Bateswood Road, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 12:55 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lindley was operating under the influence of alcohol. Lindley was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
