The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

JOSEPH SMITH, 30, of 203 Kaynor Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 21 with third-degree forgery, third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 21 Smith was served with an active arrest warrant while at court. The warrant was for larceny reported on July 19, 2014 at Stop and Shop. Police reported Smith stole the victim’s purse from her vehicle. The purse contained cash, a checkbook and a cell phone. Smith used three of the stolen checks, police reported. The total estimated loss to the victim was in excess of $1,000, police reported. Smith was given a court date of Jan. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

SHOVONA DUKES, 31, of 10 Kenyon St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 29 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 29 at approximately 3:57 p.m. Dukes turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Dukes was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

BRIAN STOCKTON, 23, of 14 Lawlor St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 30 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 2:05 a.m. officers responded to Cherry Street for an altercation between two males in the roadway. During an argument with the victim, police reported, Stockton punched the victim. The victim is an acquaintance of Stockton, police reported. Stockton was given a court date of Jan. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

ROBERT WAGNER, 64, of 13 Rockwell Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 30 with threatening and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 9:53 p.m. Wagner was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported Wagner left threatening messages to an officer. Wagner left several messages to an officer of the Naugatuck Police Department referencing an officer that was killed in the line of duty, police reported. Wagner was given a court date of Feb. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

CHRISTIAN MANOUSE, 19, of 8 Rough Wing Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 31 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Manouse was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Jan. 5, 2015 between family members. During an argument between a woman and the victim, Manuouse, son of the victim, intervened and slapped the woman, police reported. Manouse was given a court date of Feb. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

KIM PERREAULT, 52, of 8 Rough Wing Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 31 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Perreault was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Jan. 5, 2015 between family members. During an argument between Perreault and the victim, Perreault punched the victim, police reported. Perreault was given a court date of Feb. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

ERIC RILEY, 48, of 11 Fawn Meadow Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 31 with driving under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane and failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 1:05 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Riley was operating under the influence of alcohol. Riley was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHAEL STALLWORTH, 27, of 58 Rose St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 1 with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 12:43 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Stallworth was in possession of 0.8 ounces of marijuana. Stallworth was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

DEVIN FENNELL, 21, of 170 Eastern Parkway, Milford, was charged Feb. 4 with third-degree assault, breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 4 at approximately 1:52 a.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Fennell damaged a door frame and struck the victim. Fennell was given a court date of Feb. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
