Police-badgeThe Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

BRANDON BURKS, 33, of 1042 Broad St., Bridgeport, was charged Feb. 18 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Feb. 18 at approximately 1:07 a.m. Burks was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Burks was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

STEVEN KEENE, 21, of 298 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Feb. 21 at approximately 2:45 p.m. Keene turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Keene was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 cash bond.

JOSEPH HUBBELL, 49, of 247 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 21 at approximately 9:09 p.m. officers responded to 247 North Main St. for a domestic disturbance between father and stepdaughter. During an argument, police reported, Hubbell pushed the victim into the front door. Hubbell was given a court date of Feb. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

BENJAMIN LONCHAR, 24, of 148 Salem Road, Prospect, was charged Feb. 21 with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Feb. 21 at approximately 10:16 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lonchar was in possession of .76 ounces of marijuana and a grinder. Lonchar was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

GREGG BRENNENMAN, 46, of 37 Kendal Circle, Waterbury, was charged Feb. 21 with driving under the influence, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Feb. 21 at approximately 11:11 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Brenneman was operating under the influence of alcohol. Brenneman was given a court date of March 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MANTARIUS HALL, 25, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with disorderly conduct and criminal violation of protective order.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 11:36 p.m. officers responded to 933 Rubber Ave. 10-G for a domestic disturbance between father and son. Police reported Hall was arguing with family members and his father tried to intervene. Police reported Hall clenched his fists as if he was going to hit the victim. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hall violated a protective order by being in the home with the protectee of the order. Hall was given a court date of Feb. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

MICHAEL RUSSO, 19, of 66 Straitsville Road, Prospect, was charged Feb. 23 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility and failure to drive at reasonable distance.

Police reported on Feb. 23 at approximately 6:54 p.m. officers responded to Clark Road for a motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the Russo was operating under the influence of alcohol. Russo was given a court date of Feb. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
