Police-badgeThe Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MICHAEL SARKISSIAN, 18, of 88 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 13 with disorderly conduct and strangulation in the third degree.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 1:12 p.m. officers responded to 88 Thunderbird Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Sarkissian pushed his girlfriend into a wall and grabbed her by her neck after being punched. Sarkissian was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ASHLEY TEIXEIRA, 18, of 88 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 13 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 1:12 p.m. officers responded to 88 Thunderbird Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Teixeira punched her boyfriend. Teixeira was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

CRAIG BIVENS, 50, of 20 Hickory Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with drinking while operating a motor vehicle, driving under the influence and traveling at unreasonable speed.

Police reported on Feb. 14 at approximately 5:12 p.m. Bivens turned himself on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sept. 15, 2013 on High Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bivens was operating under the influence of alcohol. Bivens was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 court-set surety bond.

ADAM SILVA, 27, of 66 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Feb. 14 at approximately 5 p.m. Silva was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Silva was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 court-set cash bond.

MATTHEW VILANOVA, 27, of 57 Mistywood Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Feb. 14 at approximately 10:06 p.m. Vilanova was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Vilanova was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 court-set surety bond.

JAMES GILLIS, 34, of 667 Andrew Mountain Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 15 with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Feb. 15 at approximately 1:26 a.m. officers responded to Old Firehouse Road and Maple Street for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gillis was operating under the influence of alcohol. Gillis was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SARAH PUGLISI, 23, of 23 Merritt Ave., Woodbridge, was charged Feb. 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 15 at 12:57 a.m. officers responded to 84 Red Robin Road for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Puglisi punched the victim. Puglisi was given a court date of Feb. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MANUEL FERNANDES, 53, of 23 Elmwood St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 16 with driving under the influence and failure to signal properly.

Police reported on Feb. 16 at approximately 2:14 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fernandes was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fernandes was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MATHIEU ROUSSEL, 29, of 72 Terrace Gardens, Wallingford, was charged Feb. 16 with larceny in the third degree and conspiracy at larceny in the third degree.

Police reported on Feb. 16 at 09:11 a.m. Roussel was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on June 23, 2013. Police reported Roussel, with a male accomplice stole, approximately 50 bottles of wine, silver coins, cameras and a TV from the victim. The two men were hired to do landscaping at the victim’s home, police reported. Roussel was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 court-set cash bond.

WESTLEY CRILLY, 26, of 99 Railroad Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged Feb. 17 with two counts of failure to appear in the first degree.

Police reported on Feb. 17 at approximately 9:33 p.m. during a motor vehicle investigation on Aetna Street Crilly was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Crilly was wanted on two active arrest warrants. Crilly was given a court date of Feb. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total $125,000 court-set surety bond.
