Police-badgeThe Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

PATRICIA BASTA, 65, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 15 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Jan. 15 Basta was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Basta was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 court-set surety bond.

TYREESE FERRUCCI, 21, of 50 Dwight St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 15 with possession of controlled substance and illegal sale of drugs by non-drug-dependent person.

Police reported on Jan. 15 at approximately 4:27 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Curtis Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ferrucci was in possession of marijuana and heroin. Ferrucci was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $50,000 surety bond.

GEORGE HENRY, 28, of 204 Transit St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 15 with possession of controlled substance and illegal sale of controlled substance.

Police reported on Jan. 15 at approximately 5:04 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Henry was in possession of 0.97 ounces of marijuana. Henry was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

TODD SMITH, 20, of 100 Mark Lane, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 15 with possession of controlled substance, non-student in possession of drugs near school, high school or day care and illegal sale of controlled substance by non-drug-dependent person.

Police reported on Jan. 15 at approximately 8:00 p.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for a possible narcotic violation. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Smith was in possession of marijuana and heroin. Smith was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

KYLE BASTA, 26, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 16 with larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 1:42 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Basta stole $106 worth of merchandise. Basta was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ISAIAH AGOSTO, 23, of 115 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 16 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 3:46 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Agosto and another man were in possession of 0.03 ounces of marijuana. Agosto was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SHAWN WILLIAMS, 22, of 45 Bellevue Terrace, Seymour, was charged Jan. 16 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 3:46 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Williams and another man were in possession of 0.03 ounces of marijuana. Williams was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANDY MUCCINO, 38, of 122 Charles St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 16 with possession of narcotics not in original container.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 4:45 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Muccino was in possession of suboxone and flexural pills not in a properly marked prescription container. Muccino was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BRUCE SHAREK, 57, of 26 Fawn Meadow Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 16 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sharek was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Sharek was given a court date of Jan. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $1,000 cash bond.

KIMBERLY DAIGLE, 38, of 163 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 16 with driving under the influence, operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Jan. 16 at approximately 10:33 p.m. officers responded to Meadow Street for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Daigle struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Daigle was operating under the influence of alcohol. Daigle was given a court date of Jan. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
