Police-badgeThe Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

PATRICK OCCHINO, 30, of 14 George St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with criminal possession of firearm.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 7:40 p.m. Occhino was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a weapon violation. Naugatuck detectives assisted Watertown detectives with recovering two stolen firearms from a Watertown residence, police reported. One of the stolen firearms was located in the Occhino’s residence, police reported. Occhino was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 court-set surety bond.

JONATHAN ZULPA, 33, of 138 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 3:43 p.m. officers responded to 138-1 Lantern Park Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Zulpa pulled the victim down by her hair. Zulpa was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

SAMANTHA BRIGHT, 25, of 103 Norton St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 18 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Bright turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Bright was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

JAHAIRA PEREZ, 24, of 90 Greenwood Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 18 with larceny in the fifth degree.

Police reported on Dec. 18 an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Perez stole $601.97 worth of merchandise. She was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury
Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JASON FRASER, 30, of 64 Sethden Road, Oxford, was charged Dec. 19 with breach of peace, assault in the third degree and criminal trespass in the first degree.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 12:15 a.m. Fraser was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Jan. 29, 2013 at Mr. D’s Tavern. Police reported Fraser drove to the tavern for the purpose of fighting the victim, who is known to him. Fraser entered the establishment and punched the victim, police reported. Fraser was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

ANGELA LAMAS, 36, of 134 Crestwood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with risk of injury to a child, driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to drive right.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 6:35 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Spring Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lamas was operating under the influence of alcohol. There was a juvenile passenger in the vehicle when the officer stopped the vehicle, police reported. Lamas was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

JONATHAN BATISTA, 28, of 397 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with two counts of evading responsibly, unsafe backing, failure to drive at reasonable distance, operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked and insurance coverage fails minimum requirements.

JOSHUA ZIMMERMAN, 20, of 229 Cooke St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 20 with criminal attempt at larceny in the third degree, criminal impersonation and identity theft in the third degree.

Police reported on Dec. 20 an officer responded to 37 Anderson St. 3rd floor for a fraudulent check complaint. Police reported Zimmerman lied about his identity and attempted to cash a fake check worth $2,250. Zimmerman was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

TODD BOLDUC, 43, of 9 Kent St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 20 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Bolduc was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Bolduc was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

LUIS MARQUEZ, 51, of 1861 East Main St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 20 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 11:32 p.m. Marquez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Marquez was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $195 court-set cash bond.

JACQUELINE HOLLOWAY, 52, of 503 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 10:43 a.m. an officer responded to 503 Spring St. Apt C. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend, girlfriend and another family member in the home. During the altercation, police reported, Holloway pushed the victim. Holloway was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

PATRICK HOLLOWAY, 23, of 503 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with strangulation in the third degree and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 10:43 a.m. an officer responded to 503 Spring St. Apt C. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend, girlfriend and another family member in the home. During an argument, police reported, Holloway threw the victim to the floor and began to strangle her. Holloway was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

MICHELLE M. LILLIS, 43, of 990 West Main St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 21 with assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, breach of peace, evading responsibility, reckless driving and failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at 1:34 p.m. an officer responded to 72 Bridge St. for an evading motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian (victim). Police reported Lillis was traveling through the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The victim confronted Lillis about the excessive speed. Police reported Lillis exited the vehicle and argued with the victim. Lillis spit at the victim and then entered her vehicle, police reported. When the victim walked away Lillis spun her vehicle around and struck the victim, police reported. The victim sustained scrapes to his knees and hands. Lillis was located at a friend’s house a few hours later. Lillis was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. She was held on a $10,000 surety bond for criminal charges and a $500.00 surety bond for motor vehicle charges.

Police reported Lillis was also arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Troop I. Lillis was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was held on a $1,000 surety bond.

SCOTT WALKER, 31, of 56 Beebe St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with failure to appear in the second degree and criminal impersonation.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 8:14 p.m. Walker was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Walker was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 8:14 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. Walker was a passenger in the vehicle, police reported, and gave a false name when asked for identification due to being wanted on an active arrest warrant. Walker was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court set $5,000.00 non-surety bond.

FLORA ROSA, 23, of 124 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 6:25 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Rosa stole $26 worth of merchandise. Rosa was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

DAVID TINSLEY, 49, of 52 Crown St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 3:17 a.m. officers responded to 52 Crown St. for a domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument, police reported, Tinsley pushed his roommate against a wall. Tinsley was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

LINDA RACAN, 51, of 52 Crown St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 3:17 a.m. officers responded to 52 Crown St. for a domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument, police reported, Racan grabbed her roommate around the neck. Racan was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 bond.

KIMBERLY DUNN, 32, of 151 Hillside Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 23 with larceny in the fifth degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 7:49 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Dunn stole $782.74 worth of merchandise. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dunn was in possession of two syringes. Dunn was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

JOHN WORONICK, 26, of 638 Hanover Road, Meriden, was charged Dec. 23 with driving under the influence and breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 9:22 p.m. officers responded to 139 Lewis St. unit 19 for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Woronick was leaving a friend’s home and backed into the friend’s vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Woronick was operating under the influence of alcohol. While the officers were on scene Woronick continued to yell and scream, police reported. Woronick was accused was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

SARAH CICCIO, 24, of 139 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 9:22 p.m. officers responded to 139 Lewis St. unit 19 for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ciccio’s friend was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported Ciccio, who was intoxicated, began to yell and scream at the officers. Ciccio refused to calm down and began to swing her arms at the officer, police reported. Ciccio’s actions interfered with the officer’s DWI investigation, police reported. Ciccio was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

JENNY TORRES, 32, of 52 Camp St., Watertown, was charged Dec. 25 with disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree and failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Dec. 25 at approximately 2:23 a.m. officers responded to 131 Manners Ave. for a domestic disturbance between separated husband and wife. The husband was visiting at a friend’s home when Torres arrived intoxicated, police reported. The homeowner answered the door and Torres attempted to enter but the homeowner blocked the doorway, police reported. Torres pulled a sharp object from behind her back and cut the victim in the chest area, police reported. The injury was minor, a shallow laceration. Torres then left the scene in a vehicle and was located in Watertown a short time later. Torres was given a court date of Dec. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Police reported during the investigation it was determined Torres was wanted on an active arrest warrant out of Waterbury. Torres was arrested on the warrant and she was given a court date of Dec. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $150 court-set cash bond.

DONGFENG LIN, 53, of 125 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 25 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on Dec. 25 at approximately 11:09 a.m. officers responded to 125 Ward St. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Lin slapped the victim in the face. Lin was given a court date of Dec. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.
