The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

FREDERICK SILVA, 44, of 245 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 2 a.m. Silva turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Nov. 28, 2014 between former husband and wife. Police reported Silva and victim were arguing in a public parking lot causing a disturbance. Silva was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

RYAN YOTHER, 26, of 94 Cook Road, Prospect, was charged Dec. 31 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 11:34 a.m. Yother was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on Dec. 5, 2014 from Vapor Edge. Police reported Yother stole $111.46 worth of merchandise. Yother was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

LUIS GENAO, 31, of 91 Alpine Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 31 with fugitive arrest without warrant.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 4:27 a.m. Genao was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Genao was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $100,000 surety bond.

AMANDIO ALVES, 39, of 1224 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with second-degree harassment, violation of protective order and violation of a protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 6:49 p.m. Alves was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint made on Dec. 1, 2014. Police reported Alves contacted the victim via text messages, which was determined to be in violation of a protective order. Alves was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $15,000 surety bond.
During the investigation, police reported, Alves was located at the residence with another person. It was determined both parties were in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Alves was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $15,000 surety bond.

LAUREN DEGENNARO, 29, of 1224 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with violation of a protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 6:49 p.m. officers responded to 1224 New Haven Road to serve an active arrest warrant. During the investigation, police reported, Degennaro was located at the residence with another person. It was determined both parties were in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Degennaro was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

MARQUETTA GILL, 31, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 8:12 p.m. Gill was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Gill was given a court date of Jan. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $150 cash bond.

DARLENE SMITH-SLIVA, 39, of 6395 Main St., Trumbull, was charged Jan. 2 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Smith-Sliva turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Nov. 28, 2014 between former husband and wife. Smith-Sliva and the victim were arguing in a public parking lot causing a disturbance, police reported. Smith-Sliva was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

HECTOR GONZALEZ, 45, of 72 Maple St., Bridgeport, was charged Jan. 2 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 8:24 Gonzalez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint made on Dec. 17, 2014. Police reported Gonzalez sent threatening text messages to the victim. Gonzalez was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

WILLIAM ANDERSON, 53, of 86 Sunset Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 12:10 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members. Police reported Anderson argued with the victim in a threatening manner. Anderson was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER JARRIN, 26, of 45 Meadow Lark Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with driving under the influence and evading responsibility.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 2:04 a.m. officers responded to Meadow Lark Road for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Jarrin struck a parked unoccupied vehicle and left the scene. He was located and it was determined Jarrin was operating under the influence of alcohol, police reported. Jarrin was given a court date of Jan. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TRAVIS WALDO, 34, of 35 General Patton Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 4 p.m. Waldo was arrested on active arrest warrants. Waldo was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set cash bond.

SHAWN PIAMPIANO, 21, of 25 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 5:10 p.m. an officer responded to the area of Carriage Drive for a report of ATVs being operated on the road. Police reported Piampiano attempted to drive away from the officer when the officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation. Piampiano was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JOHN TERRY, 47, of 185 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with disorderly conduct and violation of protective order.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 8:29 p.m. officers were dispatched to 185 Cherry St. for a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, Terry threatened to harm the victims. It was determined Terry’s actions were in violation of a valid protective order, police reported. Terry was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 non-surety bond.

WILMARIE VIDAL, 22, of 711 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 4 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 5 p.m. Vidal turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Vidal was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $250 cash bond.

MARY BETH RODRIGUEZ, 39, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 5:44 p.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Ave. 238 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they punched each other. Rodriguez was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

RAFAEL CABAN, 49, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 5:44 p.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Ave. 238 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they punched each other. Caban was given a court date of Jan. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

TRACY BEDELL, 37, of 1011 Roosevelt Drive, Derby, was charged Jan. 5 with first-degree failure to appear.
