STEWARD ZACHARY FAVOCCIA, 22, of 206 Cook Lane, Beacon Falls, was charged Sept. 26 with harassment in the second degree and criminal violation of restraining order.
Police reported Favoccia was arrested for domestic violence and transported to Troop I. Favoccia was given a court date of Sept. 27 to appear at Derby Superior Court. Bond was set at $5,000.
ANDREW GONZALEZ, 42, of 23 Ivy Grove Court, Shelton, was charged Sept. 27 with interfering with officer, assault in the third degree, threatening in the second degree interfering with an emergency call and strangulation in the third degree.
Police reported at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 27 an officer was dispatched to 22 Corinne Drive in Prospect. Dispatch received a 911 call from Corinne Drive, which was made from a cell phone, and the party hung up. Police reported Gonzalez threatened and chocked a female during an argument. The bond amount and court date were not stated in the report.
GINA S. PARADIS, 32, of Summit Road, Prospect, was charged Sept. 28 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Sept. 28 Paradis was intoxicated and taken into custody for disorderly conduct after grabbing the victim’s glasses off of her face. Paradis was given a court date of Sept. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. Bond was set at $1,000.
JERRY PALOMO, 43, of 865 Riverton Terrace, Stamford, was charged Sept. 29 with assault in the third degree.
Police reported the victim was at Hotchkiss Field in Prospect on Sept. 29 playing a game of soccer when Palomo, who was playing on the opposing team, sucker punched him in the face. The victim suffered a minor laceration, police reported. He refused medical attention on the scene but told police he would seek medical treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital. The bond amount and court date was not stated in the report.
GERALD SANFORD, 50, of 503 Spring St. Apt. D, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 2 with breach of peace and assault in the third degree.
Police reported on Oct. 2 a trooper was dispatched to the area of the Depot Street Bridge in Beacon Falls for a domestic disturbance. The victim was found at the scene and Sanford was later arrested at his home, police reported. Minor injuries were reported. Sanford was given a court date of Oct. 3 to appear at Derby Superior Court. Bond was set at $1,000.
- BEACON FALLS — Police are investigating the theft of ornaments from a grave in the Pines Bridge Cemetery in Beacon Falls.
On Sept. 28, police received a report from a parent who stated five grave site ornaments were taken from her daughter’s grave. The theft occurred overnight between Sept. 25 and Sept. 26, police reported. The ornaments that were taken were three U.S. flags mounted on sticks with solar power, a multi-colored dragon fly and a ceramic sneaker with zebra stripes. - PROSPECT — Police are investigating the theft of two cars from a used car dealership on Waterbury Road.
On Oct. 1, police received a larceny report from Route 69 Auto Sales and Service, 69 Waterbury Road. Police reported a window was smashed in and two cars — a 2004 silver Acura TSX and a 2005 silver Chrysler 300M — along with the keys to the cars were stolen.

- PROSPECT — A man who was trying to sell his SUV had it stolen instead, according to police.
Police reported the victim had left his black, 1987 Dodge Ramcharger at the property at 77 Cheshire Road in Prospect in an attempt to sell the SUV. The license plate of the SUV is 1034 V. Police reported the SUV was last seen on Sept. 25 and discovered stolen on Oct. 1. Anyone with information regarding this incident can call Troop I at (203) 393-4200.
