Naugatuck police blotter: larceny
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
ROBERT CUADRADO, 43, of 24 Central Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 19 with larceny in the third degree.
ANTHONY NARDELLI, 48, of 80 North Farm Road, Middlebury, was charged March 20 with driving under the influence and unsafe movement of stopped, standing or parked motor vehicle.
Police reported on March 20 at approximately 12:54 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nardelli was operating under the influence of alcohol. Nardelli was given a court date of March 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
KEVIN BIRD, 44, of 71 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged March 20 with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy at larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on March 20 at approximately 6:56 p.m. Bird turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 14, 2013. Bird stole an acquaintance’s cell phone worth $350, police reported. Bird was given a court date of March 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.
JOHNATHON CAMPBELL, 20, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 20 with criminal trespass in the second degree and larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on March 20 at 4:57 p.m. Campbell turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 28, 2013 at Ram Welding. Campbell with an accomplice stole scrap metal from the business, police reported. Campbell was given a court date of March 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
LOUTINHA SPENCER, 32, of 67 Indian Ave., Derby, was charged March 20 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.
Police reported on March 20 at approximately 9:02 a.m. Spencer was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident that occurred on March 5, 2013. Spencer struck a vehicle and left the scene without reporting the incident. Spencer was given a court date of March 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
TIMOTHY GORMAN, 46, of 17 Klein Drive, Prospect, was charged March 21 with driving under the influence and failure to obey control signal.
Police reported on March 21 at approximately 2:54 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gorman was operating under the influence of alcohol. Gorman was given a court date of April 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
