Naugatuck police blotter: larceny
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
COREY WAGONER, 21, of 32 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged March 4 with larceny in the third degree and criminal trover damage to motor vehicle in the second degree.
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 10:05 p.m. Wagoner turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen motor vehicle complaint made on Jan. 1, 2013. Wagoner stole the victim’s vehicle. The victim is an acquaintance, police reported. Wagoner was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 cash bond.
ELIZABETH HUMPHRIES, 47, of 66 Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged March 4 with violation of probation.
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 9:57 a.m. Humphries was arrested on an active arrest warrant at 66 Hill St. Humphries was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 court-set surety bond.
ELAINE POLOMSKI, 62, of 140 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged March 4 with breach of peace and assault in the third degree.
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 3:43 p.m. officers responded to 140 Ward St. for a domestic disturbance between sisters. During an argument, police reported, Polomski pushed and punched the victim. Polomski was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
CHRISTINA ARDITO, 20, of 19 Visconti Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 4 with criminal mischief.
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 6:13 p.m. officers responded to Planet Fitness for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. After an argument, police reported, Ardito vandalized the victim’s vehicle by scratching it with a key. Ardito was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
VALERIO MARTABANO, 46, of 16 Dakin Drive, Mount Kisco, N.Y., was charged March 4 with criminal violation of protective order and breach of peace.
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 11:48 p.m. officers responded to the Comfort Inn for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Martabano pushed and punched the victim in violation of a valid protective order. Martabano was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,000 surety bond.
LINDSEY ROGER, 39, of 523 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged March 5 with larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on March 5 at approximately 10:17 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Roger stole $37.12 worth of merchandise. Roger was given a court date of March 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
JAMES EUSTACE, 29, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 5 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.
Police reported on March 5 at approximately 4:28 p.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Ave. apt. 164 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Eustace tackled the victim to the floor. The victim is pregnant, police reported. Eustace was given a court date of March 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
NHS students arrested after fight
Police reported on March 1 at approximately 8 a.m. the School Resource Officer responded to a fight at Naugatuck High School involving two, 14-year-old male students. During an argument, police reported, both juveniles began to fight. Both juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct and given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Juvenile Court. They were released to their guardians.
Student charge with possession of marijuana at school
Police reported on March 4 at approximately 11:24 a.m. the School Resource Officer at Naugatuck High School was contacted by school security in regards to a 16-year-old male student being in possession of marijuana. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the juvenile was in possession of marijuana. He was charged with possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana and given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Juvenile Court. He was released to his mother.
City Hill students charged with breach of peace
Police reported on March 6 at approximately 1:39 p.m. an officer responded to City Hill School for a juvenile complaint. Two 13-year-old students were disturbing other students by running in the hallways yelling profanities, police reported. They were charged with breach of peace. One juvenile was referred to the Juvenile Review Board. The other was given a court date of March 13 to appear at Waterbury Juvenile Court and released to his mother.
