Naugatuck police blotter: larceny
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
IDA SCHAEFER, 58, of 67 Locust St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with larceny in the fourth degree.
Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Schaefer was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Oct. 30, 2012. Schaefer was found to be in possession of a stolen TV, police reported.
WESLLEY G. SANTOS, 22, of 22 Diamond St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with driving under the influence and failure to drive right.

EUGENE GLICK, 62, of 39 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree. He was additionally charged Feb. 2 with violation of conditions of release in the second degree.
Police reported on Feb. 1 at 7:16 p.m. officers responded to 39 School St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Glick threw items around the apartment. He also attempted to push the victim out of the apartment, police reported. Glick was given a court date of Feb. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond. Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 10:59 a.m. an officer responded to 39 School St. for a violation of conditions of released. Glick contacted the victim several times by phone, which was determined to be a violation of his conditions of release. Glick was given a court date of Feb. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
LARRY TAYLOR, 52, of 139 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 1 with assault of public safety/emergency personnel.

PATRICIA WALSH, 61, of 113 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility motor vehicle and unsafe backing.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 1:16 a.m. officers responded to New Street by Svea Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Walsh struck a utility pole on New Street and attempted to drive from the scene, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Walsh was operating under the influence of alcohol. Walsh was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
RONALD PAQUETTE, 56, of 113 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence and failure to keep right.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 1:16 a.m. officers responded to New Street by Svea Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Paquette’s friend struck a utility pole on New Street, police reported. After the collision Paquette became the operator and was driving from the scene when officers arrived, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Paquette was operating under the influence of alcohol. Paquette was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
JERMAINE FARRAR, 29, of 577 Columbia Boulevard Ext., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 2 with cruelty to animals/intentional of police animal, reckless endangerment in the first degree, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 2:04 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. When the officer was talking to Farrar he put the vehicle in drive and sped away from the officer, police reported. When Farrar was fleeing from the officer he traveled the wrong way on Water Street ending in a motor vehicle accident on Maple Street, police reported. Farrar exited the vehicle and ran from the scene. K-9 Vane was deployed to track Farrar, who was located in the area. Police reported when the K-9 located Farrar, he punched the K-9. Farrar’s court date was not stated in the report. He was held on a $5,000 surety bond for the criminal charges.
ALICIA WASDO, 18, of 1066 Andrew Mountain Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.
Police reported on Feb. 2 Wasdo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident reported on Jan. 8, 2013 at 933 Rubber Ave. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wasdo struck the victim’s parked vehicle and left the area. Wasdo was given a court date of Feb. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $200 cash bond.
CHRISTINE GARAFOLA, 26, of 57 Longmeadow Drive, Wolcott, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility motor vehicle, disobeying officer signal motor vehicle and operating without a license.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 2:28 a.m. an officer responded to Rubber Avenue for a vehicle traveling with heavy front end damage. Garafola was located on Maple Street where she attempted to drive around a road closure due to a separate car accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Garafola struck a stone wall located at 32 Neumann St. and left the area. Garafola was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
ANGELO DINIS, 22, of 112 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence, improper parking, assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 3:10 a.m. officers responded to 112 Irving St. for a domestic disturbance. Dinis drove from the residence and returned when police arrived, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dinis was operating under the influence of alcohol. During an argument, police reported, Dinis tackled the victim to the ground and grabbed the phone out of her hands. Dinis was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a total $1,500 surety bond.
ANDREW GRATHWOHL, 28, of 1704 Eaton Court, Danbury, was charged Feb. 2 with driving under the influence and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 3:42 p.m. an officer responded to Mobil Gas Station on South Main Street for an intoxicated male. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Grathwohl was operating under the influence of alcohol. Grathwohl’s court date was not stated in the report. He was released on a $10,000 surety bond.
TRAVIS EBRON, 26, of 38 Enoch St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 2 with violation of probation or conditional discharge.
Police reported on Feb. 2 at approximately 6:23 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ebron was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Ebron was given a court date of Feb. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 court-set bond.
JOSEPH VEACH, 42, of 32 Dunn Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 3 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Feb. 3 at approximately 10:01 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between father and daughter. During an argument, police reported, the juvenile pushed Veach. Veach pushed the juvenile down and grabbed the juvenile’s throat, police reported. Veach was given a court date of Feb. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
