The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

BENJAMIN ELLIS, 24, of 234 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with breach of peace, violation of probation and failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 10:03 p.m. Ellis was arrested on three active arrest warrants at 234 Morning Dove Road. Ellis was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

JASON BALDINO, 29, of 8 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with assault in the second degree, conspiracy at assault in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, conspiracy at reckless endangerment in the second degree, and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 8:20 a.m. Baldino was detained in Calais, Maine on an active arrest warrant out of Naugatuck. Baldino was transported to the Naugatuck Police Department for processing. The warrant was for an assault reported on Oct. 2, 2012 at McDonald’s on New Haven Road. Baldino, with two accomplices, were involved in an argument in the parking lot with the victim and his girlfriend. During the argument, police reported, Baldino and the two accomplices punched and kicked the victim and his girlfriend. The victim’s wallet was taken during the incident. The victim sustained a broken nose, cuts and bruises. The second victim, a female, sustained a cut on her nose, chin and cheek. Baldino and the two accomplices left the area and their vehicle was found a short time later. Baldino and the two accomplices refused to come to the door when officers tried to make contact with them, police reported. Baldino was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on $25,000 court set surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER FLINTER, 22, of 268 Babbit Road, Thomaston, was charged Jan. 7 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Jan. 7 Flinter turned himself in on active arrest warrant. Flinter was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $92 cash bond.

ERIC GRIFFING, 29, of 69 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers responded to 69 Johnson St. 3rd floor for a domestic disturbance between former girlfriend and boyfriend. The officers responded to the home twice for an ongoing disturbance between the Griffing and the other party. Griffing was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

JENNIFER BISSONNETTE, 22, of 69 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers responded to 69 Johnson St. 3rd floor for a domestic disturbance between former girlfriend and boyfriend. The officers responded to the home twice for an ongoing disturbance between the Bissonnette and the other party. Bissonnette was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

FAITH FRENCH, 56, of 156 Grove St., Torrington, was charged Jan. 8 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 9:04 a.m. French turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic violation on Oct. 20, 2012. During a suspicious vehicle investigation on North Main Street, police reported, French was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. French was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

EDWIN LOPEZ, 39, of 29 Union St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 8 with breach of peace, unlawful restraint in the second degree and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 8:01 p.m. Lopez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance, between former boyfriend and girlfriend, reported on Dec. 27, 2012 on Rubber Avenue. During an argument, police reported, Lopez tried to force the victim into his car. Lopez then pushed the victim down to the ground, police reported. Lopez was given a court date of Jan. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

ERIC NEINSTADT, 42, of last known address 47 Irion St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 8 with criminal attempt at assault on an officer, reckless endangerment in the first degree, reckless driving and engaging police in pursuit.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Neinstadt was arrested on an active arrest warrant while at court. The warrant was for a vehicle pursuit that originated in Middlebury. Neinstadt crossed into oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed on Route 63 in Naugatuck. During the pursuit, police reported, Neinstadt intentionally drove at police cruisers. He was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 court set bond.

SHANNON CAMBY, 26, of 460 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford, was charged Jan. 8 with larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy at larceny in the fourth degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 12:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Camby, with two accomplices, stole $1,123.58 worth of Similac and Enfamil baby formula. Camby was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

TAHIRA STRINGER-WESTON, 19, of 460 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford, was charged Jan. 8 with larceny in the fourth degree, conspiracy at larceny in the fourth degree and two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 12:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Stringer-Weston, with two accomplices, stole $1,123.58 worth of Similac and Enfamil baby formula. On Jan. 8 at approximately 1:29 p.m. Stringer-Weston was arrested on two active arrest warrants. Stringer-Weston was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on the failure to appear charges and held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond. Stringer-Weston was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on the larceny charges and held on a $15,000 bond.

CHELSEA HITZLER, 19, of 47 East hill Road, Oxford, was charged Jan. 8 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 2:58 p.m. Hitzler turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Hitzler was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

CARVEN POTEAT-BANKS, 27, of 172 Ashley St., Hartford, was charged Jan. 8 with larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy at larceny in the fourth degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 12:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Poteat-Banks, with two accomplices, stole $1,123.58 worth of Similac and Enfamil baby formula. Poteat-Banks was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

ROGER HOUSEKNECHT, 57, of 209 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 8 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 7:12 p.m. officers responded to 57 Oak St. for a disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Houseknecht threaten to harm the victim, who is an acquaintance to Houseknecht. Houseknecht was given a court date of Jan. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

PATRICIA SNABAITIS
, 48, of 16 Simsberry Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 8 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 9:43 p.m. officers responded to 16 Simsberry Road for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Snabaitis slapped the victim in the face. Snabaitis was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

DONALD LAWSON, 36, of 63 Crestwood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 9 with failure to register: nonviolent sex offense.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 9:57 a.m. Lawson turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a sex offender registry violation. Police reported Lawson failed to notify the Sex Offender Registry Unit of his internet accounts. Lawson was given a court date of Jan. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

DAVID LEPASKA, 18, of 218 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 9 with harassment in the second degree.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 6:05 p.m. an officer responded to 220 Crestwood Drive for an intimidation complaint. Police reported Lepaska contacted the juvenile victim and told him to meet him at a location so they could fight. Lepaska was given a court date of Jan. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NEIL BRUNEAU-GOUSBY, 26, of 19 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 9 with assault in the third degree.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 10:59 p.m. officers responded to 19 Anderson St. for an assault between two roommates. During an argument, police reported, Bruneau-Gousby pushed and punched the victim. Bruneau-Gousby was given a court date of Jan. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
