The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

CAROLINE GURGEL, 18, of 199 Allerton Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 25 with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy at larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported on Oct. 25 Gurgel was arrested at Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road after she was observed shoplifting items by placing them in her purse and walking past all points of sale, police reported. Gurgel was processed and released on a $1,000 bond. Gurgel is scheduled to appear in Waterbury court on Nov. 8.

PERLA QUINONES, 18, of 56 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 25 with larceny in the sixth degree, conspiracy at larceny in the sixth degree, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, and illegal sale of controlled substance.

Police reported on Oct. 25 at approximately 5:19 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Quinones, with a female accomplice, stole cell phone charger and blue tooth valued at $39.92, police reported. Quinones was given a court date of Nov. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on $1,000 non-surety bond. The report on the drug charges was not complete as of this post.

ERIKA CORBETT, 32, of 16 Hard St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 25 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 25 at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers were dispatched to 16 Hard St. apt. 2 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Corbett grabbed the victim and attempted to bite him. She was given a court date of Oct. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

JOHN MALGARI, 37, of 167 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 25 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 25 at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers were dispatched to 16 Hard St. apt. 2 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Malgari grabbed the victim and pushed her down. He also damaged a sheet rock wall in the home, police reported. He was given a court date of Oct. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

WILLIAM J. DLUGOS JR., 38, of 224 Water St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 25 with disobeying signal of an officer, driving under the influence, and stop sign violation.

The report was not completed as of this post.

PHYLICIA MAIA, 25, of 9 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 9:07 a.m. Maia turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Maia was given a court date of Nov.7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

JOAN RITTER, 43, of 90 Kosko Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported Ritter was arrested on Oct. 26 on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to respond to an infraction. She was released on a $75 bond and is scheduled to appear in
Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 7.

JOHN KWIATKOSKI, 53, of 473 East Main St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 26 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 26 Kwiatkoski was located walking from property located on Locust Street after a resident called advising the subject was acting suspiciously. The resident of the property advised police that Kwiatkoski was banging on her doors and yelling to let him in the residence. The resident advised she did not know the subject and asked him to leave and called police because she was in fear of the man, police reported. Kwiatkoski advised police that he had been drinking and was looking for an unknown female, police reported. He admitted he did not know the property owners or where the unknown female lived, police reported. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 7.

PATRICIA SLINKA, 53, of 245 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 26 Slinka was arrested after she began punching her boyfriend while he was sleeping. The boyfriend is disabled and suffered minor injuries during the incident, police reported. Slinka was found to be intoxicated at the time of the incident, police reported. She was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 29.

SCOTT WALKER, 30, of 416 East Waterbury Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with failure to appear in the first degree.

Police reported Walker was arrested on Oct. 26 on a outstanding arrest warrant. He was processed and released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 7.

ANGELICA ZEZIMA, 23, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with driving under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane, failure to have head lamps, and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended, or revoked.

Police reported on Oct. 27 Zezima was observed driving with no headlights on, then swerved and collided with a parked vehicle and was stopped by police. Upon contact, police reported, Zezima was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. She was processed and released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 8.

SCOTT FONTAINE, 42, of 210 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct, and strangulation in he third degree.

Police reported on Oct. 27 police investigated a domestic disturbance involving husband and wife. During the investigation, police reported, Fontaine’s wife was found to have marks on her neck, which she stated were the result of a physical confrontation between the two. Fontaine was given a court date of Oct. 29 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

JOSHUA BALISCIANO, 27, of 36 Donovan Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 28 with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 28 Balisciano was arrested after police were called to a residence located on May Street for a fight in progress. Balisciano was found to be fighting with another male subject who was also arrested, police reported. Both subjects suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. Balisciano was processed and released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 7.

WILLIAM LUERSEN, 21, of 24 Morris Road, Prospect, was charged Oct. 28 with assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 28 Luersen was arrested after police were called to a residence located on May Street for a fight in progress. Luersen was found to be fighting with another male subject who was also arrested, police reported. Both subjects suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. Luersen was processed and released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 7.

AMBER LEBLANC, 31, of 54 Forest Court, Torrington, was charged Oct. 28 with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on Oct. 28 LeBlanc was arrested on two outstanding arrest warrants. She was processed and released on a total $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 9.

JOSHUA GALLEGAN, 21, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 28 with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree and larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported at approximately 4:45 p.m. Gallegan was arrested at 933 Rubber Ave. on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was for a shoplifting complaint made on Sept. 24, 2012 at Walmart. Gallegan stole a BB gun valued at $69.97 and ran from the loss prevention team, police reported. Gallegan was given a court date of Nov. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BRUCE BLANCHARD, 42, of 212 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 28 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 28 Blanchard was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant that stemmed from a domestic dispute he was involved in on Oct. 19, 2012. Blanchard was processed and released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 29.

TODD BOLDUC, 34, of 9 Kent St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 29 with disorderly conduct and harassment in the second degree.

Police reported on Oct. 29 Bolduc was arrested at about 12 a.m. after he made several harassing phone calls and text messages to his ex-girlfriend over several days. Bolduc made threatening statements during some of the calls, police reported. Bolduc was processed and released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 30.
