Naugatuck police blotter: larceny
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
TAYLOR HUBBELL, 19, of 92 Cold Spring Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 16 with larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on Oct. 16 at approximately 9:49 a.m. Hubbell was arrested at 92 Cold Spring Circle on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a shoplifting complaint made on May 14, 2012 at Walmart. Hubbell stole a beach bag, cosmetics and clothing, police reported. The value of the merchandise not stated in the report. Hubbell was given a court date of Oct. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.
PATRICIA SLINKA, 53, of 245 High St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and evading responsibility motor vehicle.

JASON ALFORD, 30, of 208 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 16 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Oct. 16 at approximately 10:29 p.m. officers responded to 208 Conrad St. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Alford grabbed a cell phone from the victim’s hands. Alford was given a court date of Oct. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
JENNIE ALFORD, 27, of 208 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 16 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Oct. 16 at approximately 10:29 p.m. officers responded to 208 Conrad St. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Alford pushed the victim. Alford was given a court date of Oct. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
CAROLYN BROADHURST, 22, of 39 Parklawn Drive, Waterbury, was charged Oct. 17 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.
Police reported on Oct. 17 at approximately 2:13 a.m. officers responded to Cumberland Farms o North Main Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. When the parties were driving home Broadhurst punched the victim in the face, police reported. The victim sustained a bloody nose. Broadhurst was given a court date of Oct. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
KYLE DOJNIA, 22, of 32 Wilson St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 17 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Oct. 17 at approximately 2:13 a.m. officers responded to Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Dojnia grabbed the victim and pushed her. The victim’s shirt was torn during the altercation. Dojnia was given a court date of Oct. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
DAVID ANDRULAT, 49, of 29 Beaver St., Ansonia, was charged Oct. 17 with use of motor vehicle without permission, breach of peace, harassment in the second degree, and larceny in the fifth degree.
Police reported on Oct. 17 at 9:40 p.m. Troop L was holding Andrulat on three active arrest warrants. Andrulat was transported to the Naugatuck Police Department for processing. One warrant was for a motor vehicle taken without owner’s permission which was reported on Feb. 20, 2012. Andrulat took an acquaintance’s vehicle without having permission to drive it, police reported. Another warrant was for a harassment complaint made on May 12, 2012. Andrulat left multiple messages on his estranged wife’s phone, police reported. Andrulat also left an axe wedged between her vehicle’s driver side mirror and car door. The last warrant was for a larceny complaint made on July 12, 2012. Andrulat stole a 36 inch TV from an acquaintance, which was valued at $550. He was given a court date of Oct. 18 to appear at Waterbury
Superior Court and held on a surety bond.
EDDIE KENNEDY, 39, of 105 Harland Ave., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 17 with operating without a home improvement license, larceny in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and forgery in the second degree.
JUAN ORTIZ JR., 42, of 25 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 17 with larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on Oct. 17 at approximately 12:21 p.m. an officer responded to Big Y for a shoplifting complaint. Ortiz stole $63.96 worth of Enfamil, police reported. Ortiz’s court date and bond amount were not stated in the report.
