Naugatuck police blotter: breach of peace
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
ANNY ANDRADE, 22, of 27 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 20 with breach of peace and risk of injury to a child.
Police reported on Aug. 20 at approximately 11:50 a.m. while an officer was stopped in the intersection of Maple Street by South Main Street he observed Andrade hitting a male passenger of the vehicle. The domestic dispute was between boyfriend and girlfriend, police reported. During an argument in the vehicle, Andrade hit the victim while their child was seated in the back seat, police reported. Andrade was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,000 surety bond.
FRANCISCO MARQUES, 47, of 1088 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Aug. 21 with criminal attempt at sexual assault in the third degree, risk of injury to child, and criminal violation of protective order.
Police reported on Aug. 21 at approximately 12:54 p.m. Marques turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a sex assault reported on Dec. 13, 2010, that occurred nine years prior. Marques inappropriately touched a female juvenile, police reported. Marques was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $7,500 bond.
Additionally, police reported, at approximately 12:50 p.m. Marques turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order complaint made on Aug. 18, 2012. Marques contacted the victim by text messaging violating a no contact court order, police reported. Marques was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on this charge and released on a promise to appear.
RICHARD BROWN JR., 38, of 6375 Main St., Stratford, was charged Aug. 21 with violating conditions of release in the second degree and harassment in the second degree.
Police reported on Aug. 21 at approximately 2:05 p.m. Brown turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassment complaint made on Nov. 18, 2011. Brown contacted the victim by text messaging violating a no contact court order, police reported. Brown was given a court date of Aug. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 bond.
VICTORIA POUDIM, 48, of 403 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

TIMOTHY GORMAN, 45, of 1 Post St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 21 with driving under the influence, disobeying signal of an officer, and failure to notify address change.
