Naugatuck police blotter: violation of protective order

The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ANDREW BEKECH, 35, of 867 Hulls Hill Road, Southbury, was charged June 26 with criminal violation of a protective order.

Police reported on June 26 Bekech was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at Waterbury Superior Court. The warrant was for violation of a protective order that was reported on June 9, 2012. Bekech contacted the victim via computer, which was in violation of a protective order, police reported. Bekech was given a court date of June 26 and held for arraignment.

ROBERT FENWICK, 39, of 1051 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, was charged June 26 with violation of probation.

MARY SHEA
, 26, of 110 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 26 with failure to appear in the first degree.

Police reported on June 26 at approximately 6:51 p.m. Shea was arrested at 110 Thunderbird Drive on an active arrest warrant. Shea was given a court date of June 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 court-set bond.

RICHARD CHATFIELD, 55, of 257 Congress Ave., Waterbury, was charged June 28 with possession of controlled substance and prescription narcotic not in original container.

Police reported on June 28 at 3:18 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, Chatfield was found to have 10 Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen pills not in a proper prescription bottle. Chatfield was given a court date of July 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH GIBILISCO, 28, of 465 Woodtick Road, Waterbury, was charged June 28 with two counts of disorderly conduct, larceny in the fifth degree, and robbery in the third degree.

Police reported on June 28 at approximately 10:52 p.m. Gibilisco was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on June 21, 2012. Gibilisco pushed his father during an argument, police reported. The other warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on May 13, 2012. Gibilisco forcibly took money from his father’s pants pocket during an argument, police reported. The accused was given a court date of June 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total $80,000 surety bond.

THERESA BUKER, 27, of, 17 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged June 29 with breach of peace.

Police reported on June 29 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Buker turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between cousins reported on June 2, 2012 at 17 Pond St. During an argument, police reported, Buker punched the victim under her left eye, causing a red bruise. Buker was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SONIA ELAINE JENNINGS, 45, of 92 Hamden Ave., Waterbury, was charged June 29 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on June 29 at approximately 1:14 p.m. an officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle/person in the rear parking lot of Sullivan’s Bar. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Jennings was operating under the influence of alcohol. Jennings was given a court date of July 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

TRACI DAVIS, 42, of no certain address, was charged June 29 with criminal trespass in the first degree.

Police reported on June 29 at approximately 7:31 p.m. officers responded to Conrad Street for a trespassing complaint. Davis was found on the property after she was advised she is no longer allowed on the property, police reported. Davis was given a court date of July 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 non-surety bond.

RAUL LIMA II, 39, of 73 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 4:12 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation. The driver has a no contact protective order against the passenger of the vehicle who was identified by his operator’s license, police reported. Lima was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

STEPHANIE PATTERSON, 26, of 2 North Main St., Beacon Falls, was charged June 30 with larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 11:21 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Patterson stole $67.04 worth of merchandise, police reported. Patterson was given a court date of July 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

GREGORY WALSH, 35, of 295 High St., Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 11:23 p.m. officers responded to 295 High St. 1st floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, his girlfriend slapped and punched Walsh. Walsh pushed his girlfriend during the argument, police reported. Walsh
was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

CRYSTAL FOX, 29, of 68 Celentano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 11:35 p.m. officers responded to 68 Celetano Drive for a domestic disturbance between sisters. During an argument, police reported, Fox punched the victim in her face causing redness to the victim’s face and neck. Fox was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

TIFFANY FRATARCANGELI, 27, of 295 High St., Naugatuck, was charged June 30 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on June 30 at approximately 11:23 p.m. officers responded to 295 High St. 1st floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Fratarcangeli slapped and punched her boyfriend. Her boyfriend pushed Fratarcangeli during the argument, police reported. Fratarcangeli was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

ANGELO GIOIA, 1081 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 1:40 a.m. officers responded to 1081 New Haven Road 3B for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Gioia grabbed the victim’s face and neck. The victim sustained a red mark on her right side of her neck, police reported. Gioia was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

JERMAINE BURKE
, 30, of 134 Stonefield Drive, Waterbury, was charged July 1 with stalking in the third degree and breach of peace.

Police reported on July 1 Burke turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance that occurred on June 30, 2012 between former girlfriend and boyfriend. Burke waited at the victim’s home until she returned home, police reported. Burke then contacted the victim by phone as he was standing outside her bedroom window, police reported. Burke was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $75,000 bond.

SAMANTHA O’CONNOR, 22, of 108 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with breach of peace and criminal mischief in the third degree.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 6:06 p.m. officers responded to 108 Oak St. for a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, O’Connor pushed and punched her sister in the arm. Police reported O’Connor also threw a garbage lid at her mother’s vehicle causing damage to the driver’s side door. O’Connor was given a court date of July 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

THOMAS PAYNE, 21, of 26 Elmhurst St., Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with breach of peace and burglary in the first degree.

JOSEPH PAYNE, 54, of 26 Elmhurst Street Naugatuck was charged July 1 with breach of peace, assault in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, larceny in the sixth degree, and threatening.

ADAM SILVA, 25, of 66 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged July 2 with possession of controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, failure to register motor vehicle eligible for commercial registration, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements, and operation of motor vehicle when license or registration is suspended, refused, or revoked.

Police reported on July 2 at approximately 12:10 a.m. an officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle/person on Aetna Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Silva had a pipe used for smoking marijuana and one Valium pill in his possession. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Silva was operating under the influence of alcohol. Silva was given a court date of July 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a total $1,000 non-surety bond.

ROBERT BERGERON, 25, of 121 John St., Naugatuck, was charged July 2 with breach of peace.
