Naugatuck police blotter: breach of peace

The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MICHAEL J. STRENK, 37, of 103 Walnut St., Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with breach of peace, assault in the third degree, and two counts of failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on May 7 at approximately 8:27 p.m. Strenk was arrested at 103 Walnut Str. on three active arrest warrants. One was for an assault reported on Aug. 16, 2012. During an argument with a friend, police reported, Strenk punched the victim in his left eye. Strenk was also arrested on two warrants for failure to appear in the second degree. Strenk was given a court date of May 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

EWA KOTLEWSKI, 20, of 48 Greenwood St., Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on May 7 at 11:33 p.m. Kotlewski was arrested on an active arrest warrant at 48 Greenwood St. The warrant was for a motor vehicle accident reported on Nov. 20, 2011. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Kotlewski was operating under the influence of alcohol. Kotlewski was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $6,000 surety bond.

DELILAH ROSADO, 25, of 21 North Leonard St., Waterbury, was charged May 8 with breach of peace.

Police reported on May 8 at approximately 1:07 p.m. officers responded to 87 Church St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Witnesses stated her boyfriend and Rosado were involved in an altercation in the parking lot, police reported. During an argument both parties hit each other in the face. Rosado given a court date of May 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

MARK GARBATINI, 27, of 740 Field St., Naugatuck, was charged May 8 with breach of peace and violation of a protective order.

Police reported on May 8 at approximately 1:07 p.m. officers responded to 87 Church St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Witnesses stated Garbatini and his girlfriend were involved in an altercation in the parking lot. During an argument both parties hit each other in the face, police reported. Garbatini was given a court date of May 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

MATTHEW ROBLEDO, 22, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 8 with larceny in the sixth degree.

Police reported on May 8 at approximately 7:55 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Robledo stole merchandise from the electronics department, which was valued at $99.30, police reported. Robledo was given a court date of May 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

KARLOS PEREZ-RAMOS, 21, of 12 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with breach of peace, assault in the third degree, and risk of injury to a child.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 6:17 a.m. officers were dispatched to 12 Aetna St. apt. 3 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Perez-Ramos punched the victim, while she was holding their infant child. The victim had injuries to her face and neck, police reported. Perez-Ramos was given a court date of May 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

MICHAEL CORSO, 22, of 47 Vermont Ave., Southington, was charged May 9 with failure to appear in the second degree.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 5:06 p.m. Corso was identified as a passenger of a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the investigation it was determined Corso was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Corso was given a court date of May 10 appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $195 cash bond.

EDJU DAJNERO, 33, of 265 Meriden Road, Waterbury, was charged May 10 with of failure to appear in the second degree, and failure to appear in the first degree.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 4:08 a.m. Dajnero turned himself in on two active arrest warrants. Dajnero was given a court date of May 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total court-set $125,000 surety bond.

SCOTT WORCESTER, 23, of 4210 Avalon Drive, Shelton, was charged May 10 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 3 p.m. Worcester was arrested on an active arrest warrant at his home in Shelton. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order, which was reported on May 4, 2012. The victim stated Worcester followed her, in his vehicle, as she was driving in Naugatuck and on Route 8. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Worcester violated a valid protective order. Worcester was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

JOSHUA EGIDIO, 24, of 260 Oak Valley Road, Kerrville, was charged May 11 with breach of peace.

Police reported on May 11 at approximately 5:30 a.m. Egidio turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on March 1, 2012. Egidio was arguing with the victim in the parking lot of Walmart. During the argument, police reported, Egidio punched the victim. Egidio was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
