Naugatuck police blotter: criminal trespass
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
OSCAR DIAZ, 31, of 254 Knowlton St., Stratford, was charged March 28 with criminal trespass in the first degree, larceny in the sixth degree, assault in the third degree, and breach of peace.
Police reported on March 28 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Diaz turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for domestic disturbance reported on March 22. Diaz tried to enter the victim’s home through a window, police reported. The victim closed the window but Diaz was able to take the victim’s cell phone, which she was holding at that time, police reported. The victim sustained minor abrasions to her hand. Diaz was given a court date of March 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
RAYMOND KOSMA, 21, of 105 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged March 28 with failure to respond to infraction.
Police reported on March 28 at approximately 6:52 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Kosma was wanted on an active warrant out of the Seymour Police Department. Kosma was given a court date of March 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court set $136 cash bond.
TRAVIS WALDO, 31, of 35 General Patton Drive, Naugatuck was charged March 29 with two counts of burglary in the third degree, larceny in the fourth degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.
Police reported on March 29 at approximately 7:58 p.m. Waldo was arrested at 35 General Patton Drive on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a burglary reported on Jan. 29. Waldo forced entry to a basement door and stole jewelry from the victim worth over $1,300, police reported. The other warrant was for a burglary reported on Jan. 30. He stole jewelry from the victim worth over $500, police reported. Waldo was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total $150,000 court-set bond.
MARILYN ANGELICOLA
Police reported on March 29 at approximately 4:51 p.m. Angelicola turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on March 29 between husband and wife.
During an argument, police reported, Angelicola threw items at a wall and at the victim. Angelicola was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.
PHILIP ANGELICOLA, 57, of 1231 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 29 with assault in the third degree, disorderly conduct, and failure to appear in the second degree.
Police reported on March 29 at approximately 6:07 p.m. Angelicola was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on March 29 between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Angelicola pushed the victim to the floor. The victim sustained an injury to her wrist. Angelicola was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $7,500 non-surety bond. Angelicola was also arrested on an active arrest warrant. Angelicola was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 court-set surety bond.
KENNETH MARTIN, 19, of 200 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged March 29 with driving under the influence, interfering with an officer, improper use of marker/license/registration, failure to register motor vehicle eligible for commercial registration, and insurance coverage fails minimum requirements.
Police reported on March 29 at approximately 9:56 p.m. officers were dispatched to North Main Street for a report of vehicles racing. Upon the officers’ arrival, Martin exited a vehicle and ran to a backyard located on North Main Street, police reported. Martin was located and during the investigation it was determined he was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Martin was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond for the motor vehicle charges. He was also released on a $1,000 surety bond for the criminal charge of interfering.
