Naugatuck police blotter: shoplifting
The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:
JESSICA CHANDLER, 24, of 79 Pleasant Avenue, Naugatuck, was charged, June 2, with criminal violation of a protective order.
According to police, the accused turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an incident that occurred on May 14. The accused contacted the victim, numerous times via phone, in violation of a Protective Order. She was given a court date of June 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. The accused was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
A JUVENILE was arrested June 1 and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon.
BLAINE CAMPBELL, 24, of 28 Main Street, Seymour, was charged, June 1, with larceny in the sixth degree: shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance: less than 4 ounces of marijuana, and non-student drugs near a school.
According to police, on June 1, at approximately 4:01 p.m. an officer responded to Big Y, Bridge Street, for a larceny complaint. The accused stole merchandise which total value was $74.13. During the investigation the officer determined the accused was in possession of marijuana. He was given a court date of June 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
THOMAS WARNKE, 49, of 180 North Main Street, Naugatuck, was charged, June 1, with larceny in the sixth degree: shoplifting.
According to police, on June 1 at approximately 3:15 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart, New Haven Road, for a larceny complaint. The accused left the store without paying for a jet ski battery worth $80.00.
He was given a court date of June 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. He was released on a $500 non surety bond.
