DALLAS, Ga. — William M. “Bill” Zukowski, 65, passed away on Dec. 22, 2013 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Bill was the son of the late Stanley and Helen (Perkowski) Zukowski. He resided in Stratford, Conn., for most of his life, and he had worked for Wells Fargo Bank for several years. For the last 10 years, he was a loyal employee of Captain Keg in Stratford. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart University.

Bill was an avid reader with a library of books. He enjoyed music and sports, and he was an avid N.Y. Yankees, N.Y. Giants and UConn basketball fan. He was known for his funny one-liners, and had a big heart to help people. Bill was a loving and caring son.
He will be sadly missed by his cousin, Teri Judson-Dean and her husband Manley. He will also be missed by his many dear friends, especially Kevin, Keith and Tony.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 338 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, is assisting the family with arrangements.
