Obit-CandleNAUGATUCK — Thomas N. Wilcox, 59, passed away on Dec. 10, 2013 in Waterbury.

Mr. Wilcox was born on Aug. 28, 1954 in Waterbury, a son of the late Robert Wilcox and Carolyn (Sargent) Wilcox. He was retired as the dog warden for the Borough of Naugatuck and was the owner of Tommy’s Pizza in Naugatuck.

He is survived by three daughters, Kelly Mento of Naugatuck, Shannon L. Wilcox and her fiancé Bill Cook of Bristol and Carrie Wilcox of Naugatuck; three sisters, Sharon Wilcox and her fiancé Michael of Middlebury, Carolyn Starziski and her fiancé Sam Wren of Watertown and Tricia Wilcox of Naugatuck; two brothers, Dennis Wilcox and his wife Nadia of Naugatuck and Casey Wilcox also of Naugatuck. He will also be missed by his granddaughter, Madison, as well as several nieces and nephews and his uncle Fred Sargent of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by one brother, Bobby “Reno” Wilcox and his former wife Debbie Wilcox.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
