NAUGATUCK — Norma I. (Keenan) Taylor, 88, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 peacefully at the home of her daughter. She was widow of Elmer R. Taylor.

Norma was born on March 11, 1924 in Penacook, N.H., daughter of the late Andrew and Edna (Decato) Keenan. She was a resident of Naugatuck for several years, and proudly served her country during World War II in the United States Navy. Norma enjoyed reading and watching classic movies. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

She leaves a son, James R. Taylor and his wife Linda of Brookfield; a daughter Jane Renauld and her husband John of Naugatuck; two brothers, Maurice Keenan and his wife Charlotte and Bruce Keenan of Penacook, N.H.; a sister Katherine Ahern and her husband Paul of Situate, Mass.; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friend, Elizabeth Kampus of Naugatuck.

All services will be private. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
