NAUGATUCK — Edward T. Kaminski, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He was husband to Marilyn J. (Marston) Kaminski.

Edward was born in Waterbury on Sept. 12, 1931, son of the late Frank and Stanislawa (Ameroszewski) Kaminski. He was a lifelong Naugatuck resident, and he had worked at Bristol Babcock Co. for many years and Carl G. Peterson Construction Co. for more than 30 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Kaminski was a member of the Polish Falcons Nest and the Catholic War Veterans.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two daughters, Rebecca Kaminski Hopkins and her husband Samuel Hopkins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Doreen Kaminski Volpe and her husband Ferdinand Volpe of Prospect; his grandson Lee Gargonia of Middlebury and his great-grandson Anthony Gargonia.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at 12 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
