Ralph Barba Sr.

NAUGATUCK — Ralph Barba, Sr., 76 passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mr. Barba was born on March 22, 1936 in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Anthony Barba and Michelina (Rossi) Barba. He was a retired carpenter and painter. He was an avid Yankee fan.

He is survived by the love of his life, Letizia Couture of Naugatuck; his son, Ralph Barba, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Middletown; three daughters, Margaret Barba of Mich., Malissa Couture and Jessica Couture both of Naugatuck. He also leaves six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
