WATERBURY — Geraldine (McLean) Del Buono, 85, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Paradigm Healthcare Center in Prospect. She was the widow of Ignazio Del Buono.
Mrs. Del Buono was born on Aug. 1, 1927 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Oliver and Estelle (Woodworth) McLean. She loved to paint and loved bird watching and also feeding them. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a very nurturing person.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Del Buono of Waterbury; one son, Stephen Del Buono of Southington; her sister, Estelle Boisvert of Wolcott. She also leaves her three grandsons, Justin, Jeffrey and Jack.
She was predeceased by several sisters and her brother Oliver McLean.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at 12 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
