NAUGATUCK — Mr. Domenic W. Natalizio, 80, of Naugatuck, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.
Mr. Natalizio was born in Waterbury on July 26, 1932, a son of the late Pasquale and Rina (Gabriele) Natalizio. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck and an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a self employed pilot and flight instructor.
He leaves his sisters, Katherine Ellering of Waterbury and Olga Hastings of Milford, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
