NAUGATUCK — Modesto S. Natal, Jr., 66, passed away suddenly in his home on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012. He was the widower of Margaret “Peggy” (Stone) Natal.
Mr. Natal was born on Aug. 6, 1946 in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Modesto Natal Sr. He was retired from Pratt and Whitney where he worked as a machinist for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Yvette Brooks and her husband Paul of Naugatuck; his sister, Viviana Maldonado of Puerto Rico; three grandchildren, Sheyana, Hunter and Havana-Sky Brooks. He is also survived by his companion for the past three years, Jodi Avendano.
His family will be accepting family and friends for calling hours on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
