Obituary: Dorenne A. (Nelson) Vieira

WATERBURY — Mrs. Dorenne A. (Nelson) Vieira, 76, of Waterbury, died Tuesday, July 3,2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Vieira was born in Bridgeport on Oct. 25, 1935 a daughter of the late George and Loretta (Ouelette) Nelson. She was a member of the New Life Church in Middlebury and was an avid poet.

Mrs. Vieira is survived by two sons, Rick Vieira of Derby and Robert Vieira of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Barbara Kelleher of Lake Placid, Fla., and Loretta Donaldson of Milford and three grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
