NAUGATUCK — Christine Angiolette, 84, of Naugatuck, formerly of Oxford, the beloved wife of 54 years of Valentino Angiolette, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, Jan.14, 2012 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck.

She was born in Bridgeport on March 15, 1927, daughter of the late James and Christine Trautman McCullough. Christine lived for many years in the Huntington section of Shelton before moving to Oxford where she and Valentino made their home for close to 30 years. In recent years, she had moved to Naugatuck. Christine was an avid homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also greatly enjoyed bowling and cheering on the New York Yankees. Christine will be sadly missed by all.

Her loving family in addition to her husband Valentino includes her four daughters, Marge Stevens (Richard) of The Villages, Fla., Susan Kaskie (Walter Fountain) of Naugatuck, Anna-Marie Viesto (Frank) of Oxford and Valerie Bysczynski (Kevin) of Bridgeport; her son Marc Angiolette (Michelle) of Naugatuck; her brother, George McCullough (Nina) of Stratford; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Kaskie-Chinchak of Shelton; her sister-in-law, Joan McCullough of Bridgeport; her eight grandchildren, Robin, Christopher, Jodi, Rick, Joey, Jessica, Krystal and Gianni Rose, her seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Tyler, Allyiah, Jordan, Brooke and Joey and her dog Missy.

Christine was predeceased by her son, James Kaskie and her brother, James McCullough.

A funeral service in celebration of Christine’s life will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 11 am at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (across from Klarides Village), Seymour. Interment in the family plot at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford will follow. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the start of the service at 11 a.m.
