Obituary: Lucille M. (Rzymska) Elnitsky

NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Lucille M. (Rzymska) Elnitsky, 85, formerly of 40 Fairwood Road, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Apple Rehab Avon. She was the widow of Harry T. Elnitsky.

Lucille was born on Sept. 17, 1926 in Bristol a daughter of the late Longin Rzymska and Alexandria (Alice) Happ. She was also step-daughter to Joseph B. Happ.

She is survived by her beloved son to whom she devoted her life Thomas Elnitsky of Waterbury. She was also survived by her daughter, Linda L. Gostyla of Farmington as well as her granddaughters, Tracy Gostyla of Arlington, Va. and Kimberly Gostyla-McCabe of Annapolis, Md. and also she is survived by three nieces.

She was predeceased by her sister, Isabell Fraley.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
