Marguerite "Margie" (Pisani) Findlay
NAUGATUCK — Marguerite “Margie” (Pisani) Findlay, 57, of Walnut Street, died Saturday, May 7, at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck after a series of illnesses.

Marge was born in Waterbury on Nov. 25, 1953 a daughter of the late Gaetano “Dan” and Violet (Litke) Pisani.

She worked for the Borough of Naugatuck as a secretary in the Office of the Mayor through the administrations of five mayors. During this time, she served as the union steward and vice president for the secretaries union, organized the United Way campaign and Daffodil Days (benefitting American Cancer Society) for Town Hall employees. She also organized student government days with Naugatuck High School. In addition, Margie was a beloved employee of The Milestone Inn and Jesse Camille’s for many years where her humor and compassion befriended many patrons. After her retirement, Marge spent some time volunteering at the Howard Whittemore Library in Naugatuck. Margie was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck.

Marge is survived by a daughter, Emily Freel and her husband Chris of Oxford, two sisters, Donna Kerwin and Lisa Scott both of Naugatuck, three brothers, Daniel Pisani and his wife Darcie of Naugatuck, Joseph Pisani and his wife Gladys of Middlebury, Vincent Pisani of Naugatuck, three granddaughters, Alexis, Emma and Christa Freel, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, May 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
