Cecelia E. (Krauss) Kaczkowski
NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Cecelia E. (Krauss) Kaczkowski, 96, widow of Stanley P. Kaczkowski, passed away Thursday, March 31 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Kaczkowski was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Nov. 19, 1914, daughter of the late Joseph and Helena (Waiton) Krauss. She had lived most of her life in Naugatuck. She had retired from the Borough of Naugatuck as cooking manager at Prospect Street School. She was also a former employee of the footwear division of Uniroyal and Naugatuck Glass. Ceil was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and she was a member of the Council of Catholic Women of Naugatuck.

She is survived by four daughters: Barbara Harper, Margaret Woolfrey, and Jacqueline Russell, all of Naugatuck and Kathleen Follacchio of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Higgins.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2 at 11 a.m.at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church at 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude Claretian Missionaries, 205 West Monroe Street, Chicago, IL 60606.
