BEACON FALLS — Leah Faye Terrill, 78, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of the late Wallace Terrill.
Mrs. Terrill was born March 23, 1939 in Pittston, Pa., the daughter of the late Leo and Jane (Rogers) Rosum. She retired from Southbury Training School in 1987 where she worked for many years as a supervisor.
Mrs. Terrill is survived by her sons, Bruce Terrill of Southington and Rhyis H. Terrill of Beacon Falls; her daughter, Tammy Dudley of Beacon Falls; her grandchildren, Devin Terrill, Laura Nunez, Bridget Terrill, Mary Terrill, Jelena Terrill, Anna Terrill and Charlene Terrill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Terrill is predeceased by her grandchild, Cheyene Terrill.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 at Church Of The Assumption, 61 North Cliff St., Ansonia. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., Naugatuck.
