NAUGATUCK — The 22nd annual Jesse Camille’s Golf Tournament is Sept. 9 at Hop Brook Golf Course.

The tournament, also known as “Candy’s Tourney,” benefits the Camille B. Perugini Charitable Trust Scholarship Fund. Camille Perugini died unexpectedly in 1997, a year after the tournament started, and the event was dedicated to her. The scholarship fund has awarded over $216,250 in scholarships to area college-bound high school seniors to date.

The tournament tees off at 1 p.m. The cost is $150 and includes a picnic lunch at 12 p.m., golf, a cart and a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. The cost for dinner only is $25.

Volunteers are needed for the event. Those who volunteer can attend the dinner as complimentary guests. The scholarship committee is seeking hole sponsors and raffle donations.

The deadline to register is Sept. 1. For more information, to donate, become a sponsor or to register, contact Larry Erickson at 203-723-2275, 203-560-6692 or jessecamilles@sbcglobal.net, or Carla Erickson at attorneycarlaerickson@gmail.com or 203-527-9307.
